DITA's RA Podcast is a window into both her disposition and sound, blending wiggly breakbeat into tweaking acid, Detroit house into Spanish electro, Balearic to '90s house and some grittier club fare, too. Crea Legacy 001 kicks off with with Alarico's "Sleeping Dog" a percussive techno track that captures deep, primal energy perfect for peak dancefloor moments. A journey through 35 years of house from the godfather of UK rave.

In popular mythology, the '90s are without question, the halcyon days of dance music—an era of free raves and unadulterated hedonism. It's a myth that Matthew Nelson, AKA Slipmatt, knows better than most–he was there.

During the late '80s, as the rave scene in the UK began to boom, Nelson began moonlighting as a DJ. He would land his first residency at Raindance, the East London rave that launched in September 1989 and would become the UK's first legal rave. By 1991 , he'd reach number two in the UK charts with "On A Ragga Tip" as one-half of SL2 and two years later, sell over 10,000 copies of the first pressing of SMD#1.

Nelson has got a lot to share (as you'll see in his interview) so we'll let him do the talking. He's been variously called the godfather of rave and happy hardcore, but what you'll hear on RA.958 is as "a journey through my 35 years of house." A DJ with this much pedigree brings much more than that, of course: touching on the breakbeat, jungle and acid house that soundtracked that golden age, as well as nods to the rich cross-pollination with scenes beyond the UK, from Joey Beltram's "Energy Flash" to Stardust's "Music Sounds Better With You."

Hailing from Thessaloniki, all three artists already have established their name on the international front with releases on some of the best labels of the scene.

This time they united to bring the heat on Renegade Methodz with six cuts of their unmistakable style for a lesson in proper techno production.

Presented symbolically under the name ‘Rework Our Unity’, this release serves as a united front of Techno music coming from Thessaloniki, aims to inspire future generations and to provide a glimpse of hope for the Greek electronic music scene.

ENDLEC is finishing the record with a track of pure and classic techno sound.
‘In Unity’ is based on an idea of 2 synthesizers interacting with each other and exchanging place in the frequency spectrum constantly while at the same time the hi-hats are dancing on top of the drum machine pattern, like a drummer playing along with the main synth tones in total unity.
The perfect track to close the EP on a high note and summarize what this record brings on the table.

Fear Will Bow EP is a transcription of Linn Elisabet’s vision of themselves and their surroundings, unfolding into a state of pure being. This four-track EP is a call to action, unifying the collective consciousness to reclaim and embrace inner strength and power by following one's authentic path. As the listener progresses through these contemporary techno compositions, an unwavering sense of empowerment emerges, encouraging listeners to touch and be touched, and to reimagine the meaning of reality and desire.

The EP opens with "Unfold," an affirmation for the dance floor featuring Linn Elisabet’s a capella vocals and poetry. It is followed by the traditional dance floor anthem "All That I Can Be," with its steady four-on-the-floor kick and driving bass hook accompanying angelic choirs. The B-side explores alternative rhythms and industrialism in "Fear Will Bow" and "Before After (We Are Grander)," intertwined with intricate sound design and the power of the human voice as lead elements.

In true Acts of Rebellion essence, the EP is released by a three-layer transparent limited edition 12” with custom inserts. The artwork features the return of research-based artist and material engineer Farvash, who transcribed the EP into the physical realm with their signature mixed media prints and holograms of authenticity. Like ACT777, each record is a unique piece of art, reflecting intrinsic human identity.

The musical works of Fear Will Bow EP were awarded the STIM Grant for Composition.

The singular Príncipe artist showcases her shapeshifting sound.

Before she was simply Nídia, Nídia Borges was Nídia Minaj. Modelled after a musical idol of hers, Nicki Minaj, in 2017, she shed the borrowed surname. As she later said in an interview with The New York Times, "Today I have my own identity. I'm not going to imitate something that someone has done already."

And Nídia couldn't be further from an imitator. As one of Príncipe's two non-male members, her body of work stands apart even within Príncipe's unique sonic universe. She traverses a broader emotional territory and extends to collaborations with Fever Ray, Kelela and Yaeji.

Her RA Podcast is a restless affair–60 minutes of pushing, pulling, tiptoeing and gliding through the sounds of the Príncipe universe. True to the label's communitarian foundations, the mix contains predominantly original and unreleased material from her colleagues.

In 2014, DJ Lilocox told RA: "Whatever your age, skin colour, sexual orientation, money in the wallet, clothes on: Noite Príncipe is for all who come to dance... forgetting the outside world." A decade on, RA.957 echoes this sentiment, a celebration of Príncipe's enduring magic: delirious, transcendent dancing for all.

A renowned global talent, Iceland's Exos was last on Mutual Rytm earlier this year with his successful 'Infrared' EP in April. The debut release on the label's new 10" vinyl X-Series, the EP picked up a wealth of high-profile plays while delivering an absorbing journey through techno soundscapes. The release was followed up by his 'Evil Nation'

LP, exploring a harder, more intense approach to techno on his own Planet X imprint, ext to tunes on the likes of Figure and X/OZ. However, he returns with more skilfully crafted ammunition across five stand-out productions and two digital bonus gems on SHDW's burgeoning imprint for a second outing packed with his trademark sound spanning mystic yet driving and impactful spheres.

The package opens up with 'Voices Of Volcano', a powerful track with a monstrous low end and quickened drum kicks that compel you to march in time as the twisted synths peel away up top. 'Enter The Danger' has a steamy feel, as if racing through a humid jungle with the sounds of bird calls and haunting voices next to the loopy percussion and driving rhythms.

The brilliant 'Icebreaker' keeps up the intensity with more precision drumming working dancers into a meditative state while the cosmic synths grow up out of the groove to become bright and unsettling. 'Mocoa Beats' is another warm techno cut that fizzes with synth energy and unfolds like an ancient ritual, while 'Chicat' brings some sensuality to the party with whispered, intimate vocals over more macho and unrelenting drums. Bonus tracks 'Codebreaker' and 'Spliffmatch' round out this high-grade EP of timeless techno in style, offering a unique closing treat for digital purchasers.

Exos and Jon Hester collaborate on Participation 007, with two distinctive driving tracks. First up is Range - built on an insistent pulsing bassline and peppered with organic percussion, epic beaming pads drop in with a zap to send the vibes far and wide.

Next up is Radar, powerfully scanning the horizon via rolling rhythmic waves of static blasts, punctuated by moments of bleeps, claps, and chaos. Midwest American Jon Hester started his Participation label for solo work and collaborations with fellow underground talents. His own works have been released on the likes of Rekids, Klockworks, and Tresor, to name a few, establishing his signature sound with warmth, groove, and soul. Hailing from Iceland, Exos has flowed forward through several channels of sound, from deep dub cuts to warehouse stormers, since the mid-nineties. As such, his releases run the gamut and can be found on Thule, Force Inc., Symbolism, Figure, Trip, Mutual Rytm, and his own X/OZ and Planet X labels, among others. His versatility of style and sensitivity both in the studio and onstage are key to his enduring appeal.

Born and raised in Sicily but now based in Berlin, SLV is known for his innovative approach to techno and its various shades. He has released on revered labels like Soma and received support from key industry players who respect his ability to blend old-school vibes with modern production techniques. Away from the club, he also produces music for film soundtracks, adding a sense of cinematic edge to his techno cuts and is a master of both analog and digital technologies - a true audio engineer who crafts unique, compelling sounds. Having previously featured on the label's ‘Federation of Rytm III’ compilation, he returns to SHDW’s Mutual Rytm imprint with his ‘Night Echoes’ EP to open up October.

‘Graustufen’ opens with punch drum programming and scintillating percussion that dances atop the groove as booming bass brings serious weight down low. The superb ‘Grand Cayman’ is another potent techno weapon, this time with icy synth atmospheres and eerie moods pervading the tightly programmed drums and bass to deliver an unstoppable force. ‘Voids’ brings urgent funk with its hunched-over, closely stacked kicks and suspensory pads, which never let up and keep you locked in the moment, while ‘Elastik Pho’ echoes a classic Detroit sound with its soul-drenched beats and serene, uplifting, beautiful hi-tek style. Last but not least, ‘That Night’ shows SLV’s extraordinary range as it brings some soulful vocal loops and optimistic chords over thunderous drums, which are sure to power dance floors through to euphoria. The EP includes two digital bonus cuts: ‘Basic Uno’, which is a raw, percussive and heads-down banger, and ‘Persistence Of Memory’, which is stripped-back, glitchy and dubby techno for strobe-lit warehouses.

Away from the club, he also produces music for film soundtracks, adding a sense of cinematic edge to his techno cuts and is a master of both analog and digital technologies - a true audio engineer who crafts unique, compelling sounds. Having previously featured on the label's ‘Federation of Rytm III’ compilation, he returns to SHDW’s Mutual Rytm imprint with his ‘Night Echoes’ EP to open up October.

‘Graustufen’ opens with punch drum programming and scintillating percussion that dances atop the groove as booming bass brings serious weight down low. The superb ‘Grand Cayman’ is another potent techno weapon, this time with icy synth atmospheres and eerie moods pervading the tightly programmed drums and bass to deliver an unstoppable force. ‘Voids’ brings urgent funk with its hunched-over, closely stacked kicks and suspensory pads, which never let up and keep you locked in the moment, while ‘Elastik Pho’ echoes a classic Detroit sound with its soul-drenched beats and serene, uplifting, beautiful hi-tek style. Last but not least, ‘That Night’ shows SLV’s extraordinary range as it brings some soulful vocal loops and optimistic chords over thunderous drums, which are sure to power dance floors through to euphoria. The EP includes two digital bonus cuts: ‘Basic Uno’, which is a raw, percussive and heads-down banger, and ‘Persistence Of Memory’, which is stripped-back, glitchy and dubby techno for strobe-lit warehouses.

Berlin-based Keplrr has spent a decade crafting a signature sound that fuses ceremonial techno with driving house and minimal influences. Having made his start in Peckham’s underground scene, the UK artist quickly progressed from DJing at venues like Venue MOT, The Rising Sun, and Rye Wax, to playing key London clubs like FOLD, Corsica Studios, and The Cause.

His tracks, which have found homes on tastemaker labels like Midgar, Control Freak and Pressure Dome, create deep, immersive soundscapes that challenge the conventional boundaries of techno. Running through them is the core idea of ‘falling and out of a trip’, and considering that feeling from different angles. The end result is something between meditation and momentum; tension and warmth, all rendered with captivating subtlety and attention to detail. Meanwhile, his DJ sets offer sleek, hi-energy sounds paired with experimental rhythms, weightless blends, and rushes of melodic release.

Kohra (ک()رہ Urdu for fog/mist) has been a member of the underground dance music community in India for nearly two decades. His journey is a testament to his ability to weave together an array of sounds and psychedelic textures, inviting listeners into realms where genres dissolve, allowing stories to unfold through immersive soundscapes. On a quest to bridge the gap between introspective techno and atmospheric jungle, infused with tribal rhythms rooted in Indian traditions, Kohra’s sets are designed to guide listeners through astral wormholes, blurring the boundaries of time and space.

This same philosophy led him to establish Qilla Records (قلعه Urdu for fort or castle) in 2011. The label was created with the purpose of fostering a community of like-minded artists, united by a shared passion for innovative sound and artistic spirit. Qilla celebrated their 100th release earlier this year with the outstanding Chakravy VA which featured 34 artists from 12 countries.

Following on from two unhinged standout EPs on UFO Inc., the Dutchman lays down a mischievous package of the weird and unexpected, fusing references to all sorts with a spring in his step and a donk on his drums. Never one to shy away from experimentation, his belief in the power of playfulness is balanced with a sincere appreciation for sound and a rigorous knowledge of technical production skill, and the results are, as always, complete bangers.

Jumping straight into the ring, opening track ‘What is What’ takes a slice of house music history and flips it onto a new level of bounce, setting the tone for what’s to come. ‘Musicmaker’ spins into a more headless space, laying down a cyclone of acid licks driven by a razor sharp hi-hat. ‘Penniless Tonight’ is all about the kick, marching swiftly into the warehouse whilst never losing that sense of melody. Rounding things off is a psychedelic slice of casio trance on ‘Level 10 (Princess vs Bison)’.
The Legend of the Princess is essential DJ Europarking - headsy, weird, and never without a touch of humour.

Maximalist house from the sibling duo at the forefront of Berlin's new wave.

Berlin is built on dance music. But of the many DJs who live, work and play there, few represent the evolution in the city's club culture like Tania and Dominik Humeres-Correa, AKA S-candalo. If the city was once governed by the tyranny of minimal, the post-pandemic era has cemented its reputation as the spot for "more-is-more" club soundtracks. It's still house and techno, but the chords are big, the drums are big and the basslines are even bigger.

Nowadays, S-candalo are firm favourites at hotspots across the German capital, from Panorama Bar to Multisex and Radiant Love (not forgetting La Noche, their own burgeoning party). The duo find rich inspiration in '90s-era Latin house, a sound that takes New York house and incorporates rolling percussion from Latin genres such as samba, popularised on labels like Cutting Records and Strictly Rhythm (there's not one but two records from the latter in this mix).

RA.956 fittingly lands at the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month in the US (more on that to come) and it's a resolutely fun affair. The duo's RA Podcast has got drive, sultry vocals and enough bounce to make you want to keep dancing way beyond the 90-minutes, marrying percussion-heavy house and ballroom with trance-inflected Eurodance from the '90s and early 2000s. (Oh, and a Shakira moment.)

Genres aside, the duo's musical raison d'etre is pleasure. Perhaps the real scandal here is how it took us so long to get them on the series.

Dame-Music founder Bloody Mary’s ‘ALTERNATE STATES OF REALITY’ EP marks the 50th release on a label that counts KiNK, Josh Wink, Boo Williams, Fear-E and Thomas P. Heckmann amongst its roster since it launched in 2010. The release sees Bloody Mary, Tresor resident, live artist, DJ and Producer, return to her own imprint with a full EP for the first time since 2020, produced as part of her live set ahead of her upcoming Autumn tour, and complete with a remix from Soma Records legends Slam.

In the ‘ALTERNATE STATES OF REALITY’ EP, Bloody Mary explores the varying aspects of her acid sound. Equipped with her TR-909 and 303, she shows her penchant for hardware, starting off with ‘REALITY ONE’, in which crunchy drums and crisp highs ride along a mind-melting acid polyrhythm before ‘REALITY TWO’ opts for a punchy electro beat, once again drenched in squelch and occasionally soothed by soft, nostalgic pads.

Flipping over the record, the infectious marching drums of Bloody Mary’s ‘REALITY THREE’ leaves behind the 303 and swaps it out for rampaging toms below a furious, clap-heavy topline. This party-starting track is pure rhythm, expertly remixed by Scotland’s Slam, who this time supply the acid in their version, amplifying the tempo to superb extremes for a hypnotic warehouse pumper and concluding the monumental fiftieth instalment on one of techno’s most important labels.

His productions have been central part of the scene through the 90s and the last decades. The UK legend spread the proper techno and electronic vibe with his solo moniker and in collaborations projects like Bandulu and Space DJz satisfying any kind of enthusiastic.

The EP starts with the ambient skit “Subteranium”, subtle synths and textures combined with a smooth-alternate basslines keep the listener moody and tense for an unexpected start.
In Temporal Mst open up the dances. Slightly distorted 4/4 beat track, jam-packed in No Signal style, plucked arps well arranged for an elegant swing.
Lore & Order is the match up to lead the dancefoors and listeners into more gloomy and wicked mood. Different sequenced synths wrap the drum groove for an hypnotic, yet enchanting and dreamy moving session.
The Tapestry of Fate is definitely a massive Jamie Bissmire’s signature track. Total ensemble of Ground Recordings releases, wicked patterns, dark mood and relentless pressure. Dancefloors will go mad for it.
Antediluvian Analogue closes the shakers with a more modern vision, high cut on bass synth and 2/4 bleepy synth for a step-forward march. Woven Whispers closes the EP as Subteranium opened. Gloomy and dark mood, effective and reverberated synths in full shaded ambient atmosphere to stun the listener and bring it into a different sound dimension.

Living, breathing, banging techno from an artist defining the highly-textured new frontier of the sound in 2024.

Lindsey Wang, AKA Polygonia, has an amorphous style you could call organic—or, better yet, harmonious. She interweaves unfamiliar elements with a mercurial touch. Wang can make something completely otherworldly sound totally, well, natural. It's made her a fixture everywhere from Munich's BLITZ to major festivals like Sustain-Release and Draaimolen.

Unsurprisingly, Wang is not one to be pinned down. Be it the sound design-anchored side project Lyder, her own label QEONE, or co-producing an album's worth of experimental percussion alongside jazz drummer Simon Popp, it's fair to say her personal output matches the feverish energy of her mixes. There's multidisciplinary, and then there's Wang: Poly-disciplinary, you might say.

Wang's entry into the RA Podcast series is no different, another stellar emphasis of her artistry. RA.955 is a voyage into wild variations of texture, rhythm and feeling, guided along by the principle of endless metamorphosis. Supple driving grooves meet crinkled surfaces, scuttling hi-hats meet chattering sonics, and good luck keeping hold of a consistent drum pattern for long. Behold a living organism raised by the club and the great outdoors in equal measure.

Argentieri has been active since 2019, with a discography spanning labels like Dutch institution Planet Rhythm, Insolate’s Out Of Place and his 2021 ‘Natural Killer’ album on Diffuse Reality - now starting his own label as a home for his output.

First up on Fransesco Argentieri’s ‘Self Control’ EP is the title track, a raw techno tool with excellently built-out loops set to keep the dance floor in full flux. Next up, ‘Chili’ boasts an infectious groove shot through with soulful techno stabs before ‘Awareness’ rattles and shakes with ample layers of distortion. Lee Holman's performances as a live act and DJ have taken him to prestigious venues like TRESOR Berlin, Khidi Tbilisi, and Corsica Studios London. Known for his vast record collection and dynamic performances, Holman's productions have earned international acclaim.

The upcoming EP evolved organically, with three of the five tracks being part of Holman's live shows for NECHTO events. The lead track, "Wave upon Wave," was recorded live after an event in Kyiv, while the other two were from a session at Khidi Tbilisi. Holman initially did not plan to release these tracks, keeping his live performances unique for each night. The bonus track, "It's Not Over," features a beautiful vocal piece and soulful techno accompaniment.

Inspired by nature, particularly the sea surrounding his island home, Holman channels this inspiration into his music. The five tracks of 'NECH026' reflect his signature deep, raw, and energetic techno sound.

With music in his veins from a young age, Fvndo has evolved from a prodigious drummer in rock bands and philharmonics to a master of electronic soundscapes. Sound Metaphors (@sound-metaphors) is Nemo Ripoll and Castro Moore, but it is also the name of their famously well-curated label and record shop in Berlin. As such the pair has been helping to define the sound of the underground on many different fronts - electric DJ sets, cult events and even through the custom-made sound systems built for customers worldwide. With a vast musical knowledge between them and a never-ending supply of their own unreleased edits and DJ tools, they are able to tell musical stories that draw from all across all genres and many different eras.

That plays out in the superb mix they have put together for us this week. It's a full-bodied selection that shows off their love of contrasting styles - loose, percussive house music brushes up with deep and dubby cuts, dark acid grooves sit next to '80s synth sounds before a disco finish goes from stomping to funky. The exuberance of it all is infectious and leaves you wanting more.

What you'll hear on this week's RA Podcast is the closing slot of 2024's Organik Festival—already a coveted moment. But as the sun dipped on Taiwan's north coast, something else was going on: Rey Colino was laying down quite possibly the set of his life.

We're big fans of Colino, AKA Colin Volvert, here at RA. Following on from a diverse set of releases from chugging acid on the likes of I Love Acid and Balkan Vinyl, through to hammering techno on Paula Temple’s Noise Manifesto this EP follows the harder end of WTCHCRFT’s production skills and is rounded off with remixes from Valerie Ace and HAVEN boss Keepsakes.

The A1 kicks things off with ‘OOO’ - a full-speed-ahead 4-4 anthem with looping vocals, charging percussions and rolling kicks ready for the dance-floor. This is followed by the broken-beat rhythms of ‘The Kink’, where vocal hits and thunderous drums combine in another quick-fire club weapon. ‘VVV’ comes on the A3 with more marching drum rhythms and eerie vocal atmospheres before the A-side closes with ‘New Friends’ and its pounding kick drum and creepy film quotations.

The B-side launches with Valerie Ace’s remix of ‘New Friends’ - following on from their recent VA track on HAVEN last year the German producer reimagines the track in to a rolling techno slammer full of threatening atmosphere and disembodied vocal hits. Finally Keepsakes closes out the EP with his remix of ‘OOO’ where vocals, flute-like synth stabs, and acid lines play off each other in a call-and-response pattern alongside tribalistic drum rhythms to end another offering from HAVEN ready to light up dancers world-wide.

MCMLXXXV (@thetruemcmlxxxv) is a co-founder and resident at Berlin's celebrated queer party Herrensauna. Though it has gone from being a local underground favourite to a globe-travelling brand, it always remains true to its mission of empowering people though music and community. The soundtrack is hard and dark and comes from across the electro, techno, EBM and industrial spectrum but for every bit of grit, there is always a hint of seduction. MCMLXXXV was a real highlight when he closed down Dekmantel Festival '22 at the UFO stage with his fellow residents so we're delighted to welcome him back to the podcast series.

And he doesn't disappoint across a high-octane hour. The slick selections are in a rush to get you moving and once you start you won't be able to stop. The rhythms are elastic but bumping with earth-quaking bass down low and everything from tribal percussion to liquid synths via sleazy vocals up top. It's a perfect display of MCMLXXXV's ability to blend the physical with the sensual into colourful and contemporary soundtracks that really bang.

The label is back with the next entry on their main series - this time with an EP from NYC-based producer and DJ WTCHCRFT. Following on from a diverse set of releases from chugging acid on the likes of I Love Acid and Balkan Vinyl, through to hammering techno on Paula Temple’s Noise Manifesto this EP follows the harder end of WTCHCRFT’s production skills and is rounded off with remixes from Valerie Ace and HAVEN boss Keepsakes. The Italian duo's reputation as a rave demolition crew has made them one of the most in-demand acts on the global circuit. Too nosebleed for 'business', and too close to Defqon.1-level hardstyle to be hard techno in the classic sense, 999999999's headline sets practically require a new category to convey the sense of scale: let's call it megatechno.

Following a string of unsubtle yet undeniably impactful hit records in the late 2010s, Carlo B. & Giovanni C. became fast favourites of a generation who prefer their 303 cranked to 11. Their rampant velocity arrived at the right moment, proving parallel compatibility with acid lifers and younger audiences making the leap from EDM to hard dance. Flash forward to 2024 and they're flanked by flamethrowers while mashing down colossal crowds at festivals like Awakenings.

Here, they purposefully strip it back and emphasise the core elements of the 9x9 formula—high drama, jackhammering kicks and the kind of tweaked-out acid air sirens that would make the likes of Hardfloor and Miss Djax scrunch their noses in approval. In other words, non-stop wrecking balls trained squarely at the foundations of a hangar near you.

Athens-based artist Mr. Dello brings a love of industrial and dark techno to his sounds. He is a producer who is always experimenting with new ideas and creating a uniquely hard-hitting vibe on labels like Subsist, Wunderbock and Traum Schallplatten. This brand new EP sees him deliver two tracks inspired by his techno roots.

The title track kicks off this EP with heavyweight kicks that will rattle warehouse walls. They are hard and flat-footed while caustic synths wash about the mix and ghoulish voices add extra darkness and intensity. The equally powerful 'Kapioka' has filtered acid lines spraying about over rolling and earth-shattering kicks that will ensure peak-time dance floor eruption.

Remixer Voiski is a live performer and DJ and with Iranian roots and a love of classic electro as well as one of the seminal artist on the Sheik ’N’ Beik having released two ‘Spotlight Diktat’ and ‘Soundless Pattern of the Tortoise’s Walk’. He is involved with several collaborative projects including being one-half of Polar Inertia and has been hugely prolific on labels like Delsin and Bassiani. His take on 'Mazepsou' is lit up with bright, flashing synth motifs while the drums become broken and lumpy. It's a euphoric cut in the most devilish of ways.

The 2nd remix is from Simone Gatto who released Sheik ‘N’ Beik’s only full length LP album to date.He is at the helm of southern Italian techno label Out-Er. Also known for his ambient sound therapy work, his warm and hypnotic sounds gets dancers into a meditative state. His dub of 'Kapioka' lays down vast rubbery kicks and cavernous sub-bass while the deft synth modulations whip about and the whole track ebbs and flows like turbulent seas during a Mid-Atlantic storm.

A renowned global talent, Iceland's Exos was last on Mutual Rytm earlier this year with his successful 'Infrared' EP in April. The debut release on the label's new 10" vinyl X-Series, the EP picked up a wealth of high-profile plays while delivering an absorbing journey through techno soundscapes. The release was followed up by his 'Evil Nation'

LP, exploring a harder, more intense approach to techno on his own Planet X imprint, ext to tunes on the likes of Figure and X/OZ. However, he returns with more skilfully crafted ammunition across five stand-out productions and two digital bonus gems on SHDW's burgeoning imprint for a second outing packed with his trademark sound spanning mystic yet driving and impactful spheres.

The package opens up with 'Voices Of Volcano', a powerful track with a monstrous low end and quickened drum kicks that compel you to march in time as the twisted synths peel away up top. 'Enter The Danger' has a steamy feel, as if racing through a humid jungle with the sounds of bird calls and haunting voices next to the loopy percussion and driving rhythms.

The brilliant 'Icebreaker' keeps up the intensity with more precision drumming working dancers into a meditative state while the cosmic synths grow up out of the groove to become bright and unsettling. 'Mocoa Beats' is another warm techno cut that fizzes with synth energy and unfolds like an ancient ritual, while 'Chicat' brings some sensuality to the party with whispered, intimate vocals over more macho and unrelenting drums.
