3. SERA J — Anthrax
4. SERA J — Dementia
5. ANNĒ — A Taste Of A Real Woman

8. SERA J — Similar Minds
9. SERA J — Primal Howl Of Ego
10. ANNĒ — Analog Heartbeat

This final chapter reflects everything the collaboration has stood for across a trio of inventive techno releases on SHDW's imprint.

Creative and life partners ANNĒ and Sera J have been two voices growing in parallel, evolving separately but moving with the same pulse. ANNĒ is well established thanks to standout EPs on the likes of Soma and Hardgroove, while Sera J has released on the likes of Life in Patterns and Renegade Methodz, and both have featured on Mutual Rytm’s ‘Federation Of Rytm’ series before now. ‘Symbiosis III’ is the moment where everything comes full circle: the culmination of a journey built on respect, creativity, and the freedom to explore their own paths while lifting each other forward.

Sera J kicks off with ‘Ransomware’, a commanding and driving techno cut lit up with flashy synths but always moving with urgency. ‘Phosphate’ keeps the energy levels high with stripped-back drums and bass designed to perfection, while ‘Anthrax’ has an anxious edge. The synths are wispy but evocative as bass kills and swiping filters bring the drama.

ANNĒ then ups the ante with the acid-tinged ‘Dementia’, which is loopy and unrelenting before ‘A Taste of a Real Woman’ gets more seductive with a sultry spoken word and sustained chords that bring the paranoia. ‘Heart Rate’ is propulsive with Detroit-style synth soul and an aching vocal, before Sera J returns with ‘On the Run’ - a percussive, trippy and eerie roller. His final Cut ‘Similar Minds’ has a searching synth surveying a desolate landscape, before ANNĒ then closes the EP with the punchy drum patterns and icy hi hats of ‘Primal Howl Of Ego’ and a blend of deep drums and evocative synth work on the ‘Analog Heartbeat’ - which proves potent techno can be beautiful.

Named after the sun, "Helios" symbolizes the personal goals we orient ourselves toward: radiant and motivating, yet capable of overwhelming those who chase them too closely. The EP was written during a period of intense reflection on performance culture, “hustle” mentality, and the rat race of late capitalism - an environment amplified by constant comparison on social media.

Helios is both a celebration and critique of ambition - a techno journey through the heat, pressure, and brilliance of striving. It is scheduled to release on February 6, 2026 on both digital and vinyl formats.

With A Little Bird Told Me, MZA delivers her first full-length album: club-ready, organic, and visually immersive techno, built on precise sound design, tribal influences, and an exploration of sonic rituals. Across eight tracks, she expands her musical language beyond her previous EPs, while maintaining the intensity, rhythmic precision, and club energy that define her signature sound.

2. Fast & Curious
3. Roots Run Deep
4. Heat Rising
5. Blush
6. Bite Me Softly
7. Rage Against The Clock
8. Never Let Me Fall

The album opens with Nothing Stays Hidden, an off-format track that immediately sets the project’s aesthetic tone, combining textured ambient layers, restrained melodies, subtle percussion, and a sensibility close to cinematic language. At the other end of the record, Never Let Me Fall draws on trap and hip-hop influences, supported by a vocal line reminiscent of a modern choral arrangement.

The first half of the album dives into the most organic and percussive tracks. Fast & Curious, Heat Rising, and Blush form a triptych shaped by tribal influences and an almost animalistic physicality: abundant percussion, raw timbres, and instinctive rhythms. These tracks evoke a humid, vibrant space, where the beats move like an undercurrent of tension.

The second half grows more incisive. With Bite Me Softly and Rage Against The Clock, MZA revisits her fast-tech inspirations: accelerated tempos, compact textures, and sharper attacks. The energy is direct and vivid, revealing a more abrasive, nocturnal side of the record.

A Little Bird Told Me captures the spirit of its time: dense, tangible techno shaped by percussion, textures, and a taste for mystery. The album confirms MZA’s shift toward a more cinematic aesthetic, while retaining the precision and edge required for the club.

Over the past two years, that identity has evolved significantly. Their sound has moved toward a more raw and driving form of techno, stripped back and focused on momentum, pressure and atmosphere.

Signal From The Burren captures this shift and marks a clear statement of where DIVERSION stand today. Produced throughout 2025, the EP reflects a refined yet versatile approach, with each track contributing its own character while remaining grounded in a cohesive vision.

Following two previous releases with Grab The Groove, the label felt like a natural home for this next chapter. GTG SOLO 008 presents DIVERSION at a decisive moment, confident in direction and committed to pure techno.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Lorenzo LSP & CR HERZ. "JUST DANCE!" comes off the new v/a Disordine, forthcoming on Italy's Analog Disorder. The release that brings together two seemingly distant worlds. On one side, a darker and more sensual approach rooted in dark disco and darkwave; on the other, a club-oriented sound directly connected to the legacy of Italian dance culture.

The point of convergence between these two dimensions is the collaboration between CR HERZ and
Lorenzo LSP. Their track represents the moment of synthesis within the release, bridging contemporary
sensibilities with an imagery deeply linked to Italian ’90s club culture, where tension and dancefloor energy naturally coexist. The hypnotic, nocturnal and sensual atmospheres of DXXXV and Parasex define the darker side of the compilation, while Karmine Domenicano brings a more direct, club-focused perspective, maintaining depth and intensity throughout.

This Various Artists release functions as a sonic map of Analog Disorder’s identity: a space where different aesthetics converge, reinforcing each other while preserving a clear and coherent vision.

Tracklist:
1. Division
2. Echoes
3. Orbital
4. Divina Nostalgia

‘Division’ sets the tone of the EP with playful percussion and bright synth work that unravels as the track progresses. Rosati utilizes the full character of the 909 for the flair that drives the record: rides, claps, and open hi-hats thunder through the arrangement in celebration of each transition. The artist then zeros in on ‘Echoes’, tightening the energy with an unflinchingly analog bassline and lush pads that round out the harsher edges of the percussion. This serves as a more linear approach for immediate effect; where the track favors minimalism, it provides maximum impact.

Gradually turning up the energy, ‘Orbital’ jumps through toms and filtered chord stabs to emphasize the record’s extroverted nature. The synths dazzle along the rolling drums for a track that possesses house’s temperament but techno’s insistence. Finally, the title track ‘Divina Nostalgia’ concludes the EP in a moment of pure release. If you wondered where jazz comes into the picture, just ask Rosati. Organs, Rhodes, swing, and sustained tension slice through to a victorious finish line that highlights dance music’s command of the present moment.

Amsterdam’s T.NO delivers the 503rd Dekmantel mix, giving a taste of what he’s bringing to this year’s festival season. The Rinse FM resident draws on his Surinamese heritage to weave kawina rhythms into club music with a sharp, contemporary edge. Bass-led and grounded in Afro-diasporic traditions, his productions carry a restless, exploratory energy on labels like TraTraTrax, Club Djembe and re:lax.

His mix for us is a widescreen two-and-a-half-hour selection that dives deep into all aspects of his sound. After a serene ambient start, T.NO wastes no time in getting down to business and lays down stripped back global rhythms that demand a full body response. Moments of percussive, drum-led intensity are woven into futuristic electronics and heavy bass workouts, always under high pressure and with great control.

The record opens with “Just 30 Seconds”, driven by powerful low-end foundations balanced by warm, enveloping textures that immediately pull the listener in. “Groundbound” follows, deep and immersive, built around a memorable synth and arrangement designed to linger in the mind.

The voyage continues with “2014”, a melodic and transportive track that drifts effortlessly into “Silent Embers”, where raw power and mysticism merge into a uniquely intense atmosphere.

The second half opens with “Anime”, propelled by a massive rumble beneath a delicate groove and finely crafted stabs. “Essenza” dives into darker, hypnotic territory, defining its own distinct mood and tension.
The only collaboration on the LP, “Encontro”, sees Sciahri and Temudo blending their respective visions into something truly memorable, where both styles converge naturally and with purpose.

The journey closes with “Offset”, a reflective and emotional piece that encapsulates a sense of travel and quiet melancholy a final moment designed to resonate long after the record ends.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Essaira. "I.I.C." comes off the new LP, From The Guts of Essaira, forthcoming on Italy's Raw Culture. It follows the path announced with the single 'Dramla / Xirxe', expanding its tensions and guiding them towards a more layered, conscious expressive form. It is an album to be listened to without respite, allowing the sonic material to dilate. The tracks move across a punkstrial terrain rich in synths held in constant tension; sharp guitars and industrial rhythms alternate drive with suspension. The vocals, multiple and layered, do not seek centrality but co‑presence: they enter, disappear, pursue one another, dig deep and steer the listening through zones of friction and release. The album is released during a period of widespread instability and reflects that mood. The ten pieces construct a compact journey, with darkness and urgency alternating with more rarefied, introspective moments. Nothing is accidental: every segment is functional, every tension is permitted to resonate until the end. From the Guts of Essaira is a physical, visceral record; it works by accumulation and subtraction, strengthened by the fracture between control and abandonment. It breathes, listens, spreads.

The Memphis artist also known as Cities Aviv delivers 60 minutes of stirring electronics and industrial abstractions.

Since his first release in 2010, Gavin Mays, AKA African-American Sound Recordings and Cities Aviv, has been living multiple lives. The D.O.T. label boss has put out work under various aliases, spanning post-hip-hop, ambient electronics and soul-inflected abstraction, consistently challenging and rearranging the scope of every genre he works within.

African-American Sound Recordings is Mays' "side project"—as hobbies go, it's a formidable one. Since its launch in 2019, he's released ten albums built from a dense palette of samples: distorted voices drift alongside warm currents of jazz and acoustic instrumentation, painting ambient vignettes that swerve between the serene and the industrial.

It's no coincidence that Mays cites Sunday service as a formative space. Samples of gospel worship and memories of communal ritual are the fil rouge running through the project, reimagining Black musical traditions as a living system.

RA.1024 has one of the shortest tracklists in the series to date: three total. The final two tracks, gospel recordings ripped from his own CD collection, arrive like sunlight breaking through the clouds.

The mix moves naturally between driving techno, ambient moments, and subtle electronic textures, taking its time and letting each transition breathe. The focus is on feel and movement rather than big moments. Repetition settles into a steady rhythm, small changes keep the energy alive, and layers come and go without forcing attention. It’s an immersive, continuous flow, a mix meant to be lived through, where sound, space, and momentum connect in an honest and instinctive way.

With Coalescence, The Third Room brings together artists from distinct yet interconnected techno lineages, united by a shared understanding of the music as both physical and introspective. Rather than staging contrasts, the EP focuses on convergence, where propulsion, atmosphere and restraint fold into a coherent whole.

Rene Wise & Ignez open the release with Anjos , pairing Wise’s tactile, percussive pressure with Ignez’s expansive, oceanic pads. The result sits at the intersection of functional drive and elevated, almost devotional space, re fl ecting a new generation’s approach to techno as both tool and inner landscape. Norbak’s remix draws the track further inward, deepening its hypnotic pull and extending its energy into a more meditative, slow-burning form.

On the B-side, Claudio PRC & Luigi Tozzi present Onirica , a deeply restrained and immersive composition rooted in atmosphere, spatial detail and subtle psychedelia. Unfolding with patience, it rewards attentive listening and long-form dance fl oor contexts. Markus Suckut closes the EP by reducing Onirica to its bare essentials, applying his signature economy and precision to heighten tension and focus.

Coalescence re fl ects The Third Room’s vision of techno as a shared terrain, where different voices and generations meet, align and quietly reinforce one another.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from NZM 99. "Khuiten" comes off the new EP of the same name forthcoming on France's TJALK records. Witht this EP the artist delivers an intense, ascending sonic journey inspired by the highest mountain in Mongolia. Much like its mythical summit, the EP unfolds through raw power, mineral atmospheres, and a tension that steadily rises.

The three original tracks sculpt a deep electronic landscape: cold layers, rhythms carved like rock, and an energy that evokes both the solitude and the majesty of high-altitude environments. Each piece reveals a different facet of the massif—its spirituality, its harshness, and its sense of elevation.

Two artists extend this ascent with their own singular visions: Liza Aikin offers a dark, incisive remix shaped by her industrial and immersive approach. Mystery Kid delivers a more hypnotic and enveloping reinterpretation, where sonic verticality transforms into a slow, atmospheric traverse.

Khuiten moves like an expedition: determined, precise, inhabited. A climb toward an inner summit as much as a musical one.

2. SERA J — Phosphate
3. SERA J — Anthrax
4. SERA J — Dementia
5. ANNĒ — A Taste Of A Real Woman
6. ANNĒ — Heart Rate
7. ANNĒ — On The Run

Both artists came at the project from their own angle, and the result lands with a clarity that neither would achieve alone, a meeting point that feels natural, focused and built for the floor. With early support from Chlär, Yanamaste & JKS, the EP has already shown its impact well ahead of release.

Both artists bring their trademark sound, and the result lands exactly where we’re heading this year. Stripped-back, pressure-building, and engineered for locked-in dance floors. A sharp start to the year, and a clear sign of where the label is heading next.

The release moves through moments of connection and isolation, intensity and release, capturing the emotional charge that exists between people, spaces, and sound after dark. Drawing from years of devotion to the craft, GLIA translates the highs and lows of nightlife into music that feels honest and unpolished, embracing imperfection as part of the process.

It’s an EP rooted in feeling rather than function, where emotion leads and structure follows.

I think when you find yourself at Mo:Dem, you always get a different vibe from what you’ve imagined, and this year we wanted to bring something more stripped down compared to the last one. I think this was our most fun and best one we played for Mo:Dem so far.”

Recorded live at Mo:Dem Festival, this fusion of Spekki Webu and Feral is a powerful sonic catalyst, where the merging of two psychedelic techno maestros creates the ultimate techno Voltron. What emerges is a deep trip into sonic telepathy and high-fidelity minimalism, driven by high-octane rhythms and ominous sci-fi sounds that channel a raw, futuristic shamanic energy.

“You never know what the other is going to play and that adds a lot of adrenaline. Then you can create something unique, a live patchwork, an improvised mosaic. Doubling the incertitude and the variables, you can definitely have more fun during the performance.”

This mix, recorded live at Seed Stage at Mo:Dem Festival captures that exact friction, the moment where two distinct musical minds collide to form something entirely new. Across the three hours, the story unfolds with unconventional rhythms, experimental grooves and deep cerebral soundscapes that defy easy categorization. Spontaneous intuition evolves into a singular flow, where Spekki Webu’s futuristic electronics meets the detailed, shifting layers of Mental.

The Texan prodigy transmits the sound of sci-fi techno in 2026.

What does the future feel like in 2026? In an era dominated by nostalgia and electronic revivalism, even techno—a genre once defined by futurism—has begun to feel stagnant. Enter Gautham Garg, aka Decoder. Raised in Dallas, the 21-year-old offers a refreshed vision of techno for the present moment.

While comparisons to techno stargazers like Mills and Richie Hawtin are inevitable, RA.1023 reveals a broader palette. Microtonal flourishes recall Aleksi Perälä’s Colundi era, while the patient structures lean closer to Perlon-style minimalism than early-2000s severity, with nods to Ricardo Villalobos and Margaret Dygas.

Built largely from unreleased material, RA.1023 captures Garg’s vision of techno for this decade. There’s weight, but it’s more body than bite: elastic, finely tuned drums and a buoyant hypnotism that persists even in rougher moments. Though often labeled sci-fi, Garg’s sound adds layers to cold futurism—instead, optimism shines through. In his hands, techno’s future still feels bright.

The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Manao. Born and raised in Maracaibo, Venezeula and now based in Berlin, Manao’s practice emerges from sound as a form of memory, movement, and belonging. Shaped by the city’s electronic underground, he began building community through music—using it as a tool to connect fractured geographies and shared histories.

Drawing from Uk Bass, Detroit and modern Electro, Latin Club, Warehouse rave, and Jungle, Manao’s selections operate as hybrid soundscapes rather than fixed genres. His work resists categorization, treating the dance floor and radio alike as spaces where diasporic identity can remain fluid, fragmented, and open-ended.

The release sees Troma & PERS1, Blazej Malinowski, Téo Dréan, Nicola Dal Sacco, and 747 return to the label with new work, each interpreting acid through their own lens. Across the EP, Aquaregia’s distinct blend of emotional, hypnotic, and musically rich acid techno is assembled in a nod to the label’s foundation.

The record opens with Troma & PERS1’s Atomic, a deep and dreamlike cut filled with metallic textures and drifting movement, followed by Blazej Malinowski’s Brudnopis, sliding into a low-slung, seductive groove. On the flipside, Téo Dréan’s Honeymoon Phase injects orchestral euphoria and cinematic tension, while Nicola Dal Sacco channels vintage ‘90s hypnosis on Papaia. To close, 747’s Decades offers a reflective, bittersweet finale – a fitting coda to Aquaregia’s first ten years.

Founded in December of 2015 by Emily Nicoll, Aquaregia has built its identity around a melodic, emotional take on acid and techno. Pairing timeless club music with thoughtful, considered presentation, the label has maintained a consistent aesthetic across a decade of projects.

“In a techno scene that’s seen turbulent shifts over the years, it’s been incredibly rewarding to work with such an inspiring group of true artists,” says Nicoll. “Their deep contributions have shaped the sound Aquaregia is known for today. The label has always moved slowly, letting the music lead while exploring different textures of acid and techno. Looking back, it’s remarkable to see how these releases have connected with people, both online and on dancefloors. 10 feels like the perfect bookmark for this era.”

Hagva is the collaborative vision of CP1 and Not Mass, both key figures in the Milan-based collective Evolvere and core-project of Stagno Records, the emerging Italian label reshaping the experimental music scene with its bold and innovative approach.

Recorded live at the legendary Omen Wapta Weekender at Garage Noord, this mix is a marathon descent down a rabbit hole of skeletal rhythms. Built on a philosophy of precision and rupture, the duo explores deep-seated resonances that cut with surgical intent, only to be dismantled by rhythms that break and reform in unpredictable and kinetic ways. A sonic force that descends into a beautiful, transcendental oblivion. Dive in now.

The newest XL signing delivers 60 minutes of blistering explorations across the hardcore continuum.

Don't expect KAVARI to take anything too seriously. The Glasgow-based artist thrives on contradiction: a pop-adjacent instinct colliding with a love of discomfort, abrasion and noise.

After years of releasing independently, 2026 marks a new chapter with PLAGUE MUSIC, her debut on XL, out in February. But her instincts remain the same: push harder, strip things back, make it stranger. It comes as little surprise, then, that she's earned the support of fellow mould-breakers like Aphex Twin, Ethel Cain and Hudson Mohawke.

Of her RA Mix she shrugs: "I honestly don't remember making it." That irreverence is audible: disembodied voices mutter club-floor mantras, as she drags grime, drum & bass and dubstep through distortion, friction and collapse.

If that all sounds chaotic, well, that's kind of the point. The aim is to unsettle but o nce you find your footing, RA.1022 reveals itself as genuinely thrilling dance music, far removed from convention. Because nobody gets anywhere interesting without ruffling a few feathers.

Deetron is a venerated veteran who has been crafting sublime house and techno for three decades on a range of influential labels. 2025 brought another busy year for him, with another standout EP on Ilian Tape followed by his latest album which landed via Running Back in October. Back in 2024, he dropped his ‘Translate Rhythms’ EP on Mutual Rytm’s X series and now takes charge of the second release on SHDW’s new sub-label Mutual Rytm Raw - following the first 12" ‘You And Me’, which was a true summer anthem courtesy of KiNK & Raredub

In its original form, the bright, expressive ‘Flow’ is a fulsome techno cut that pairs a driving rhythm with sophisticated synths. It sparkles with cosmic energy, while a textured, screwy lead winds through the mix and euphoric female vocals burst out to big emotional reactions. The ‘Chord Dub’ is a tight, bouncy rework with vamping chords lighting up the drums with real warmth and soul, while the ‘Breakbeat Mix’ fizzes with rich, old school energy. The dusty breakbeats demand physical reactions, while the pads bring a grand sense of scale and the vocals tug at the heart. All three are classy, effective and offer yet more timeless sounds.

London mainstay RIZ LA TEEF has been on the scene for a number of
years, coming up only playing vinyl and cutting dubplates showcasing
the Garage, Funky, Dubstep and Grime UK sounds. This mix is a nod to
his roots as it is vinyl/dubplate only featuring his trademark smooth
mixing and long blends. Enjoy!
Our first mix of the New Year is an otherworldly back-to-back between DJ Nobu & Aurora Halal that was recorded live at Dekmantel Festival 2023. Japan's Nobu is a renowned selector with a singular but fluid approach to techno and experimental electronic music. He’s the cult figure behind the long‑running Future Terror party series and Bitta label, both of which showcase truly adventurous sounds. Halal, meanwhile, is the Brooklyn‑based favourite who runs the respected Mutual Dreaming series and has a shadowy, psychedelic style that melts genres together with experimental textures.

The pair represent two distinct but complementary strands of underground music culture, as heard in this special two-hour recording. There's a rawness to it that keeps you on edge as the duo weave mind-melting techno tales, spin out into cosmic electro and strip everything away to reveal pulsing, hypnotic rhythmic cores. It's an utterly immersive musical dialogue between two modern titans.

The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Zaatar. The Belgian-Moroccan DJ and producer based in France blends electro, EBM, and new beat, weaving retro energies with North African influences into sets that are as unpredictable as they are intense. From the artist:

This mix is meant to express my love for and commitment to the music that existed before techno as we know it today. It draws from what we can call New Beat, E-beat, and of course the spirit of La Ruta Destroy. I have also included some contemporary artists who, in my opinion, share similar references and influences to my own, such as Curses, Reda Saiarh, Facets, and Lavion. The list is, of course, much longer, and I could go on and on.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from exc. "excruciate" comes off the new EP, Seductive Supervision, forthcoming on About Repitition. Between surveillance and seduction, control and self-optimization, Seductive Supervision unfolds, the first chapter of the long-term project exc.directory. Under the collective alias exc, nine ghost producers merge into a dense audiovisual essay on the subtle mechanisms of power.

The tracks move between kinetic rigor, fragmented breaks, and atmospheric abstraction—music as a mirror of a control society that is no longer structured by walls but by permanent self-observation.

Seductive Supervision is less an album than a system of impulses, an acoustic diagram that translates Deleuze's idea of the control society into sound. What remains is a feeling between ecstasy and confinement – and the realization that the most beautiful cage is the one we design ourselves.

After a period of stepping back to reshape its identity and welcome new members into the team, @meteors_recordings re-emerges with a renewed vision and a sharper artistic direction.

The release is accompanied by a strong lineup of remixes from R.M.K, Juri Heidemann, Molly Lollen, and The Chronics, each adding their own perspective while extending the narrative of the original tracks.

Sensational ambient techno, dub pressure and acoustic visions, sculpted for dreaming and dancing.

In 2023, we called Mariachiara Troianiello one of techno's most exciting producers. And time has only confirmed that statement.

Belonging to a new school of head-spinning artists following in the lineage of Donato Dozzy and Cio D'or, the Turin producer put out her debut EP as Katatonic Silentio, Emotional Gun, in 2019, exploring breakbeat and IDM through a distinctly introspective lens. Since then, her evolution has been striking: from hyperkinetic, post-rave intensity to the sound design-rich tapestries heard on releases for Delsin, Ilian Tape and Mantis.

At first glance, Troianiello's RA Mix ends on an unlikely note: "Technologystolemyvinyle," Moodymann's gloriously disjointed 2007 house cut. But this is a mix best understood in two halves. The opening stretch leans heavily into acoustic, organic sonics before kick drums gradually emerge in the second half. Even at its most stripped back, RA.1021 feels full-bodied: immersive, meditative and transportive.

There's also an unmistakable sense of freedom throughout, the sound of throwing caution to the wind, playing purely on instinct and joy. It's the feeling of being invited into Troianiello's inner world, and revelling in it together. That unguarded spirit defines RA.1021.

Designed for danceable rhythms and active listening, the duo formed by Another Code vs. the artist Pvta Miséria kick off this new series with the first round of artistic clashes. Function's Infrastructure New York now welcomes Troy with his first Double EP 'Echoes of Ancient Life' — a profound excavation of both his past and the evolving trajectory of his sonic identity.

Composed entirely with the OB-6, the release channels inspiration from ancient and forgotten civilizations — their echoes resonating through layers of analog warmth and hypnotic repetition. Across these 8 tracks, Troy constructs a continuum between the mystical and the mechanical: deep, tunneling synth lines, evolving textures, and precise rhythmic flow.

From the slower beginnings to the more uptempo and propulsive closing chapters, Echoes of Ancient Life maintains a firm gaze on the dancefloor while delving into the archeology of sound. Recorded at Pollux Studios in The Hague, this release captures the timeless spirit of techno — both as a ritual and as a forward-moving force.

Across ten carefully crafted pieces, “Through” channels the artist’s singular sound, one that resonates through the bones and awakens what lies dormant within.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from XXOK. "NOW HERE" is the lead single from Seoul-baed artist's upcoming EP, capturing the core philosophy behind his work. It conveys a message about our inability to remain fully present in the “now and here,” shaped by the cold atmosphere of the city and the enclosed intensity of underground techno clubs—where only the music and the self momentarily exist—while the mind drifts between an unrealized future and an unchangeable past. Built on heavy kicks and a driving EBM bassline, the track unfolds through trancy synth patterns, with XXOK’s vocal textures cutting through the mix and sustaining its momentum.

Stumble into 2026 with the 3XL favourites' uncanny vision of ambient.

It's become a tradition that the first RA Mix of every year eases listeners into January with soft, gentle and unhurried tones. For RA.1020, though, crimeboys take a different approach.

Made up of Ben Bondy, Special Guest DJ and Pontiac Sterator, the US trio are all loosely associated with 3XL. Over the past decade, the Berlin-based label, run by Special Guest DJ, has helped define a strain of ambient that foregrounds strangeness, texture and eccentric detail.

This energy comes through immediately on RA.1020. Listen to the first ten minutes and you might not quite feel soothed. Stick with it, though, and a different logic begins to emerge, as church bells, corroded electronics and industrial abrasion give way to long passages of dub pressure, shadowy rhythm and low-lit propulsion.

Across two hours, the trio draw a map of influences both internal and external to the 3XL universe, from foundational reference points like Skinny Puppy, M.E.S.H. and DJ Krush to artists embedded within the label’s wider orbit, such as Perila, james K and Critical Amnesia. Together, these selections trace a throughline from '90s industrial and jungle into dub techno, experimental club and contemporary ambient's more unsettled edges.

RA.1020 isn't comfort listening in the conventional sense, but it does offer its own form of recalibration and release. Stay put, and you'll be rewarded.

Ivano Tetelepta bio

Founder of KERING4, member of Dilated Pupils and co-founder of SIENA and ESHU records, Ivano Tetelepta is a busy, but laidback and humble G in this era. As being a former member of breakdance crews Ill Skill Squad, Come Correct and Rebelz On The Run (a division of Always Doing Hardcore Damage), Tetelepta used his bboy background to create his own style. This resulted in over 40+ releases on his name on high quality labels such as Fear of Flying, Tenderpark, Rue de Plaisance, Fasten Musique and many, many more.

Festivals and clubs were aware of his music production and resulted in performances at clubs such as Doornroosje (Nijmegen), Arma 17 (Moscow), Concrete & Rex Club (Paris), AgeHa (Tokyo), Club Der Visionaere (Berlin) and performances at festivals such as 88han N&D festival, (Herfst) Drift Festival, Mysteryland and Henk Festival.

While listening to his music production, you can feel his emotion, influence and background. For now, he developed an interesting discography and gig CV, and will continue his journey. Be aware, stay up!

Where maturity evolves into a signature sound, the personal and musical journey become one. Chromadelia by Italian producer and live artist Ness re fi nes two decades of precision and craft.

It is techno reduced to its core logic – direct, functional, and self-aware. Ness’ process moves from spontaneous jams to detailed sculpting, a continuous sequence where improvisation gradually becomes structure. Randomness plays a role, but only as the foundation for his architecture.

The result is music that feels both deliberate and fl uid, shaped by intuition and re fi ned through years of practice. Minimalism here isn’t merely an aesthetic choice, but an organic conclusion — drawn from experience and the trust that less can truly reveal more. The four tracks on Chromadelia extend this clarity onto the dance fl oor: sharp, beepy, metallic, rhythmically charged, yet open enough to let each element breathe. Introspection and club-functionality coexist seamlessly, each amplifying the other. In Chromadelia, Ness demonstrates that every tone, every pulse serves a purpose, offering a clear re fl ection of an artist who has learned to let precision speak louder than complexity.

We are thrilled to share Mary Yuzovskaya's set recorded live from Monument Festival 2025 as part of our MNMT 500 celebrations.

Mary Yuzovskaya runs her set like an old but reliable steam engine locomotive. Except this train is going to Hogwarts. Mary is a responsible conductor, making sure everyone is on board, getting their bodies going at a steady pace, warming up the system for what's to come. Later.

Her sound lives in a hypnotic but assertive space. The hypnotic part comes from steady patterns that loop and settle into the body. Rhythms that repeat long enough to quiet the thinking mind. You are not distracted by constant changes. The groove stays in place and draws you in through consistency.

The whole Monument family is dancing in sync. Looking as good as ever. High in energy and anticipation. And then. The sky opens. But, we have our best lasers ON, saved for this occasion, saturday night, they weren't used on friday at all, and when the pouring rain hits the upgraded lasers, we have a million diamonds falling towards us. The crowd roars. Celebrates what nature throws at us. Surrenders to its will. No one left the dancefloor to seek refuge in their tents. No one. Mary Yuzovskaya responds...

If you were there, you know that this was the start to what can only be described as the Champions League of festival night shifts. With Yuzovskaya, Pacho and Doltz seemingly playing one after another. Mary’s job was to get the crowd going, but at the same time leave room for more. She delivered.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Maze DK. "Sharpening Senses" comes off the new EP, Remnant Cave, forthcoming on WEBUILDMACHINES. The artist's second EP emerges from the fractures of an uncertain, dystopian present. Forged in the tension between flesh and machine, it channels music as a vessel for the human condition, carrying fear, desire, and resilience in equal measure. Cinematic passages, heavy drones, and restless atmospheres drift through futuristic industrial terrains, articulating the quiet anxiety of existing within an increasingly inhuman world. Yet beneath the unease, pulse and movement persist. The EP’s hypnotic grooves and physical drive anchor it firmly to the dancefloor, transforming the club into a ritual space, a site of communion, release, and temporary escape from the collapse beyond its walls.

The release is extended by forward-leaning remixes from Duellist and Tunnel, who refract the original material through a data-driven, machine-logic lens. Their interpretations strip the tracks into signals and structures, amplifying rhythm, pressure, and algorithmic precision. The result is a colder, more futuristic transmission, designed for peak-time immersion where bodies move in sync with systems, and instinct collides with code.

We close out 2025 with a rare studio mix from the gifted London DJ.

DJing is a craft. It reveals itself over time rather than all at once, and few embody that better than OK Williams. Active since 2019, the London DJ has built a reputation through steady accumulation rather than acceleration, becoming one of the city's most trusted and widely admired selectors in the process.

Williams has never been interested in narrowing her taste into a single calling card, and it's no coincidence that her roots lie at NTS Radio. She learned to DJ at the Hackney station, starting out as a volunteer producer in 2017. Musically, she moves easily between moods—sometimes cheeky, sometimes deep—and tempos, playing everything from 160 BPM jungle and amapiano to baile funk, deep house and dub techno.

For her RA Mix, Williams offers up her "purist" side. Despite her background in radio, Williams doesn't share mixes often and RA.1019 arrives as a relatively rare studio document. Recorded at home on vinyl, the 90-minute session mostly leans into '90s and early '00s techno and prog house.

"Ten years ago I tried learning how to play [vinyl] on a friend's 1210s and gave up after a couple of weeks,"Williams tells us below. "Those same decks were then gifted to me years later and were used to record this mix. It's quite nice to see how far I've come."

In returning to vinyl, and to the decks that once marked a rocky start, Williams' RA Mix arrives as a fitting marker for the year's end. As 2026 approaches and new resolutions begin to crowd the horizon, RA.1019 serves as a welcome reminder that the best things seldom arrive in a hurry.

Recording of Yaeji's DJ set at The Nest stage during Dekmantel Festival 2025.
Steve Bicknell enters the main room at The Villa, Oslo. With decades of experience, Bicknell plays with patience and intent. He does not rush the room. It takes about 25 minutes before he even remotely steps on gaspedal.

His sound is rooted in deep and stripped back techno. Often influenced by dub, early UK and Detroit traditions. The set starts in the shadows, with sparse rhythms, low pressure. Early on, there is space. Space to arrive. Space to breathe.

As the set continues, he builds through repetition. A new percussion line slips in almost unnoticed. A bassline tightens. The groove becomes firmer without becoming aggressive. Tracks are chosen for their texture and weight, with smooth transitions. The focus is on flow, and the dance floor is slowly pulled together.

Later in the set, the pressure increases and the rhythm becomes more insistent. The bass becomes more physical. By this point, the room is locked into the hypnosis.

Thank you Steve. And thank you to everyone who came to share this night with us

"The Budots Three" showcase the thrilling sound of Filipino dance music.

If you were on TikTok in the summer of 2024, there is a good chance you heard "Emergency Budots (Paging Doctor Beat)." The DJ Johnrey track spread fast, soundtracking countless dance clips, and just as quickly sparked a wave of corrections. Budots, viewers were told, wasn't new. And most people weren't dancing it right.

To understand Budots, DJ Love, DJ Danz and DJ Ericnem are a useful starting point. The three producers have been making Budots music since the early 2000s, developing the genre largely outside formal club infrastructure, and across the trio's RA Mix, the genre's playful character comes into focus. Bouncy like a ball, it's primary elements are clipped vocal samples, pitched-up synth hooks and tightly looped rhythms.

Heard in full, RA.1018 plays out as an hour-long joyride, making it difficult to square the music’s buoyancy with Budots' earlier local associations with disorder and crime. DJ Love has been central to reframing Budots, positioning it as a form of release for the working-class neighbourhoods he calls home. "People fight in the slums," he told The Face. "I wanted to turn that energy into enjoyment."

RA.1018 offers a glimpse into that world. Working collectively as The Budots Three—extra points if you catch the nod to a certain pioneering Detroit outfit—Love, Danz and Ericnem showcase the richness beyond TikTok's compressed snapshots. Across the hour, the mix moves between classic Budots reworks and newer mutations, tracing both the genre's roots and where it might head next. It's Budots, in full view.

Planet X label head and 20-year scene veteran Exos, hailing from Iceland, draws on his native country's influences in his work, which explores the interplay between light and dark, warmth and cold. His high-octane sounds over the last 20 years have appeared on vital imprints like Tresor, X/OZ, and, of course, Mutual Rytm, with his releases for the label having been extremely well received, garnering support from the scene’s key DJs. Whether dubby or hard, his techno is always authentic and channels the purity of the 90s style. This new album follows Exos’s inaugural X- Release, the Infrared 10", the Icebreaker 12" from last year, and his track on the latest Federation of Rytm IV compilation. It's a real journey through all facets of his sound, including a trip back to his dub techno roots, ambient explorations, and emotional vocal pieces with lifelong memories fused into sounds that reflect the artist’s decades spent in Iceland.

‘Sweet Dreams’ opens with an atmospheric intro in the form of a 28-year-old collaboration with his father. This full- bodied analogue ambient piece is rich with the mysterious tones of the Nord Modular and was recorded during their shared studio days at D17 in Reykjavík. The title track is a hypnotic, linear groove with icy synth modulations and glistening melodies. 'Hinn Víðförli' then brings dub warmth while 'State of Mind' recalls the spirit of the legendary Reykjavík club 'Thomsen', a cornerstone of Iceland’s late 90s underground scene. 'Glaður og Reifur' and 'Fögur er hlíðin'pay homage to the echoes of ancient Viking heritage, 'North of January' conveys the cold of Exos's homeland, and 'Hvarvetna' brings textured percussion and darker undertones before '101 After Dark' slows to a bass-heavy broken beat exploration of texture and post-dubstep pressure.

After the heady and atmospheric sound of 'The Dolphin Oracle', another key collaboration comes with 'Freefall', an emotional breakbeat piece featuring vocalist Amelia Rodriguez,' who also lends her voice to 'Shock', a magnificent track that channels Exos’s modern techno energy. The album closes with a haunting paradox, 'Paradise Lost,' questioning whether our sweet dreams are truly moments of bliss or simply reflections of what we’ve already left behind. The three bonus digital cuts offer sleek minimalism, punchy deep techno, and suspenseful ambient.

Oscar Mulero returns to homebase with this intense four tracker that means a return to direct dancefloor weapons after the scifi and mental approach of his late works. Although being intense and direct, these exercises keep the abstraction and intelligence that techno is supposed to have since its inception.

Tracklist:
01 – The body
02 – Like a black rainbow
03 – Golden dome
04 – Sacred place
05- A subtle physical sphere

The body is the perfect example of this physical but complex approach, direct and gymnastic pieces combine in a constantly moving and evolving arrangement, full of twists and subtle changes but preserving the groove in every second.

Like a black rainbow uses a drilling bleep to perforate your inner ear while 909 shuffled hats provide the pulse required to move ahead. The bleepy thing evolves in frequency and the groove goes busier as time goes by, resulting in a mind bending experience.

On the flip side, Golden dome uses asymmetrical sequences as the main course, helped with micro drones to improve the otherworldly feel, as usual, the elements come back and forth wisely administered to provide the required danceable energy.

Closing the record things change drastically in Sacred place introducing unusual cadences on the rhythm and sequences, a futuristic march of robots maybe a nice image to confront with the sounds. Not everybody is capable of working with such a groove. Definitely the highlight of this collection.

As a bonus track for the digital edition, A subtle physical sphere, a galactic sound adventure , profound and abstract, a sound voyage into the realms of unconsciousness.

The Leisure System co-founder talks psychology, behavioral science and his standout album of the year, Stochastic Drift.

Sam Barker's influence on contemporary electronic music culture spans many levels—not only as a producer and DJ pushing against traditional genre boundaries, but also as key figure behind the scenes as head of the label Leisure System. He came into RA HQ to talk about the central thesis in his current work: exploring organic, human timing in a genre that has become increasingly obsessed with mechanized grids.

The Berlin-based artist tells us about how he puts this theory into practice in his standout album of the year, Stochastic Drift, and his recent collaborative project with saxophonist Bendik Giske. Beyond the technical, he also reflects on the evolution of the Berlin scene, the surprising arguments for liberation in the streaming economy and the role of art in imagining a utopian future. 2. HIGHLIMITER - Zyryab
3. HIGHLIMITER - Void Motion
4. HIGHLIMITER - La Noche
5 .HIGHLIMITER - Nightcraft
6. HIGHLIMITER - Locked Dimensions

The EP opens with “Magnetic Souls” and “Zyryab”, two essential, hook-driven techno cuts where stripped architecture enhances the impact of every element. “Void Motion” shifts the trajectory into a more groovy, tightly wound direction — a tension-builder with hypnotic movement at its core. “La Noche” raises the temperature further, pushing the essentialist formula toward peak-time force, while “Nightcraft” expands it with energetic looping pressure. Closing track “Locked Dimensions” lands as a masterfully layered DJ tool, a precision-crafted weapon for blending and momentum control.

Altogether, HIGHLIMITER’s debut for KYSH is a clean, modern and highly functional showcase of his style — minimal in form, impactful in execution, and designed with a clarity that speaks directly to the dancefloor.

Sweden's Olof Dreijer is one of electronic music's most beloved outsiders. His work as half of The Knife alongside his sibling Karin is the stuff of experimental pop legend, while his solo output is just as wonderfully weird. He showed that again in September with Iris, his second EP on Dekmantel, which featured two originals that twist textured beats and smudged chords, intricate sound designs and hyper-real melodies.

Across his 75-minute mix for us this week, Dreijer works quickly through everything from carnival house to zippy club music, mutant bass and thumping techno. Plenty of his own music features, including his recent remix of Björk, Rosalia, plus cuts from DJ Hyperactive, Jeff Mills, DJ Rush and many more. It's a full throttle selection for the peak time.
Raär is a producer, live act, DJ and studio mastering engineer from Belgium. A true artist, who is not pinned down on one particular style or emotion: from soothing ambient to heavy and dark percussion based techno workouts to IDM-inspired takes on everything in-between.

This live set was captured at the Stagno Records and Omen Wapta night in Milan last year and is one of his first longform live appearances. This set distills fragility and force into a compact, tactile listening experience. A rare snapshot of process in evolution: Raär’s performance moves with restraint, built around unreleased material, early sketches from his Incentive LP (released on Omen Wapta earlier this year) and glimpses of what’s to come in his collaboration with Stagno.
