Moving Pressure 03 lands as Rene Wise’s third release on his imprint. With a refined approach to rhythm and restraint, the artist once again distills techno to its purest form: hypnotic, percussive, and propulsive. Across four tracks and in line with the label’s essence, MP03 thrives on movement—low-end mastery meets tightly coiled grooves, while textural elements shift and evolve with subtle precision.

Artist: Rene Wise
Title: Moving Pressure 03
Label: Moving Pressure
Catalogue: MP03
Format: Digital
Genre: Electronic
Style: #Techno
Release date: April 11, 2025

Written, produced & mixed by Rene Wise.
Mastered by Conor Dalton
Words by Costanza Acernese.

Tracklist:
A1. Relax
A2. Chomp Chomp
B1. Cave
B2. Deep Under

A1 ‘Relax’ sets the foundation with a mighty sub-base, rolling forward with effortless force. Chopped-up claps ricochet through the mix, while a funky, disembodied vocal repeats a single command: “relax”.

Then comes ‘Chomp Chomp’, a denser offering in Wise’s sensorial arsenal. Layered with gritty textures, his signature percussion builds a soundscape that is both tactile and weightless, evoking a kinetic dream state where groove and space are in constant conversation.

On the flip, ‘Cave’ plunges into murkier terrain. Swathed in fog and sinister atmospherics, it unfolds through an eerie blend of sci-fi surrealism and grounded physicality. Bleeps hover like distant signals, their sharpness softened by a cavernous, smothering embrace. It’s a study in tension—hypnotic and unsettling in equal measure.

Closing the release is ‘Deep Under’, a track that embodies its name with subterranean mystique. The soundscape is rich with detail, an ecosystem of sonic fragments shifting beneath the surface. It’s immersive yet elusive, like catching glimpses of something just out of reach—a mirage that flickers between the tangible and the ethereal.

This is minimalism with intent, built for deep immersion. Less, here, is infinitely more.

The journey begins with MM6, a hypnotic and forceful track driven by sweeping strings that expand and contract like a living entity. Aspects follows, a piece of refined minimalism where every element feels meticulously placed.

On the B-side, the title track Dont Be Naive sets a relentless pace, steadily building tension with masterful restraint. Eventide introduces eerie, spellbinding vocals that weave through the track like an incantation. Closing the EP, Keepers of the Secret slows the tempo, its haunting female vocal etching itself into the subconscious.

The digital-only track, Chapter X, brings a fluid, rolling groove, a perfect embodiment of Kameliia’s sonic identity.

“Pansori” opens the record with a reduced pulse that immediately sets a dark, tribal tone. Here, abstract Korean folk vocals “Pansori” blend with sparse, percussive elements, evoking distant echoes from an underground ritual. Building on that foundation, “Sapphire Glare” moves forward with renewed intensity. Anchored by a powerful low-end and an experimental approach to sound design, it lays a robust groove that radiates a subtle yet undeniable luminescence.

The narrative deepens with “Monitoring,” where the energy takes a darker turn. Sinister forces unite into a dense atmosphere, while hypnotic, swinging synths Ameniia Records 1 pulse through the track—each beat a magnetic pull into the realm of audible mystery.

In a striking contrast, “Illuminating” performs the final act layered in shimmering light. Dreamy, bright dub elements guide the groove into a luminous vision, maintaining kinetic energy while crafting a floating, otherworldly atmosphere. Together, these four chapters form a dynamic exploration through the interplay of darkness, light, and experimental minimal techno.

From the outset, 'Magallanes' asserts itself with rolling drum patterns and pulsating synths, locking listeners into its hypnotic rhythm. Hypnotic synth pulses weave through the track, building tension gradually until it breaks into a dense, rhythmic crescendo.

Next up, 'Turn the Tables' lives up to its name, amplifying the energy with snapping hi-hats, deep bass momentum, and restrained synth modulations. A functional yet immersive trip through layered percussive textures.

The B-side offers a deeper, more atmospheric twist.
'Cycle Break' channels a groove-heavy, tribal-infused flow, using intricate rhythmic interplay and distant, metallic textures to create a track that breathes and expands across the mix.

Rounding out the release, 'Set A Dot' leans into pure forward motion, with skittering percussion, sharp synths, and a rolling low-end pulse, making it a go-to tool for seamless DJ layering and extended club sets.

With 'Set A Dot', Chontane refines his signature style, delivering tracks that are meticulously detailed and irresistibly powerful.
A journey through rhythm, texture, and raw energy.

The next Dekmantel mix is a wild melting pot of dark, murky techno grooves by @mattikk. A pillar of the Amsterdam underground, the Garage Noord resident has a long history of DJing in the city and is closely connected to your favorite techno labels. He’s the mind behind Delsin Records' Mantis series, collaborating with artists like Forest Drive West, Konduku, Lemna, and Dino Sabatini.
Drawing on UK sound system culture, his selections always carry an experimental edge, whether diving into deep Italian techno or ambient. Usually, he crafts mixes for immersive listening pleasure, but here he makes a rare turn to the dance floor, inspired by his closing set on the UFO2 stage at last year's Dekmantel Festival. Over an hour of powerful, driving grooves and subtle details, sprinkled with new tunes and some personal favorites that span low-end-heavy electro and broken beats.
The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Iti. "Sungburst Digital" comes off the new v/a, Motion's Ethos, forthcoming on Australian imprint Electronic Selections. Cutting his teeth in Brisbane/Meanjin's underground dance scene, the now London-based Iti is a DJ and producer with a sound that constantly evolves, blurring genre lines with precision and purpose. Known for his sharp ear and meticulous production, his mixes, which weave an intricate narrative of heritage, influences, and an innate understanding of human movement, have found homes on globally respected platforms like NTS, Radio Alhara, and Rinse.fm, further solidifying his presence on the international stage.

Beyond the decks, Iti has been pivotal in amplifying South Asian voices in electronic music. The co-founder and mastermind behind the club-focused label Pocketmoth, his influence extends deep into the scene’s creative fabric.

Sunburst Digital offers a distinct perspective within Iti’s diverse repertoire. A sleek, futuristic take on house music, the track layers snappy, late-night percussion with lush strings and an irresistible bassline. Its less-is-more approach highlights both groove and restraint, showcasing Iti’s ability to craft tracks that leave a lasting impact on the dancefloor.

1. Covil dos Abutres
2. Correct Incorrect
3. Vida e Morte
4. Element One
5. Beautiful Day
6. Time Line
7. Savana Urbana
7. Diferenças

Dextro has been immersed in electronic music and DJing since the early 90s. In the decades since, he has become synonymous with a sound deeply rooted in simplicity and authenticity. Fuelled by a passion for his craft, his production process is guided by intuition and spans a diverse range of styles, from tunnelling grooves to more potent techno with deep and hypnotic layers. He has held several key residencies and released on top labels like CLR and Missile Records, and he adds to those with a first outing on SHDW’s Mutual Rytm with ‘Covil Dos Abutres’.

The five-track 12” and eight-track digital EP has a sleek, stripped-back style, with wide-spanning corners of the techno realm explored. ‘Covil Dos Abutres’ is a deep space transmission with journeying, frictionless beats and deft sci-fi motifs that recall classic touches synonymous with the genre’s pioneers. ‘Correct Incorrect’ keeps the pressure on with more rubbery, dubbed-out groves beautifully decorated with delicate melodies. ‘Vida E Morte’ is another sublime and hypotonic minimal techno sound with funk in the kicks and a freaky late-night spirit. ‘Element One’ again combines perfectly reduced drum groves with atmospheric pads and curious samples that keep you intrigued, and 'Beautiful Day' closes out with sonar-like synth pulses over the most skeletal but captivating rhythms.

Digital cuts 'Time Line’, ‘Savana Urbana’, and ‘Diferenças’ further explore the intersection of minimalism with cosmic synth designs that take you off into distant astral worlds.

Another Barker masterclass.

Sam Barker asks more from techno. The artist known simply as Barker is one of electronic music's most consistently conscientious and curious producers, challenging listeners to question the norms we accept about our shared culture—whether it's the music that fills the room, the process behind it, or the purpose of the space itself.

British-born yet based in Berlin since 2007, Barker forged a connection to many of the city's leading institutions, including Ostgut Ton, and over the course of a long and fruitful relationship, he carved out one of the more singular paths on the club and label's roster.

Not one for orthodoxy, Barker challenged four-to-the-floor techno framework in favor of melodic experimentation. By decentering or completely stripping away the typical trappings of kick drums and claps, his productions are both light and immersive, buoyant in low-end presence and shimmering in weightless space.

Six years after Utility, his sophomore album Stochastic Drift arrives this month. Shaped by pandemic-driven reinvention, it burrows deeper into harmonic twists and freeform drift. "At some point I became conscious of the process," he wrote of his latest album. "The only thing you can do is embrace the uncertainty and see every change as a potential positive.”

Consider his RA Podcast another sequel. Like his much-beloved 2019 mix for FACT, it's a collage of live recordings and a fitting expression of the artist's own internal spring. RA.982 radiates wide-eyed optimism: percussion cloaked in foggy, swirling pads and trance-like chords, neatly synched in synthetic glimmers.

All in all, it's an hour of music crafted for contemplation, collective euphoria, or heads-down epiphany—or for that matter, any moment, really, its emotive depth seemingly endless.

Built on a sci-fi-tinged vision of war and chaos, Raw Eloh twists traditional structures into something unpredictable. Shut Up and Run opens the EP with a hypnotic 4/4 pulse, a relentless techno tool rooted in the duo’s live set. Unperson takes a darker turn, blending warehouse-weighted kicks with fractured break loops and evolving cybernetic synths.

With Negotiator, the boundaries blur—starting as a driving 4/4, it mutates into a broken-beat assault, layered with an unsettling vocal loop taken from a news report on nuclear negotiations. Finally, AHRB strips everything down to the essentials. Brutal, minimal, and mercilessly effective, it’s a tool designed to cut through the dance floor with razor-sharp percussion and sheer sonic force.

"Raw Eloh" embodies ADERAL’s approach to the label—stripped-down, forceful, and unrelenting. No polish, no concessions, just pure, abrasive energy.

“I like to give unknown artists a chance to rub shoulders with big names on our releases, not pre-judging their music based on the size of their profile. I scouted Stef and gave him his first release, and then followed to give advice over career choices. Something I’m proud to do with a lot of artists I work with” - Cleric

As Red Rooms emerges, he brings his impeccable knack for writing groove focused techno. On ‘Imaginary Pleasures’ the live supremo serves up a composite of toe tapping techno riffs that rotate through a chugging system of deep rolling toms, crooked synth rolls, and hypnotic sweeps.

With the second release of Byond Mōmentum, JAMIE & Lucas Bergen are back on the label with their EP "Replica Consciousness". As AI becomes more dominant in society, the distinction between what is real and what is artificial is becoming even more difficult to distinguish. It is accelerating at a pace that seems almost unstoppable, as it continues to replicate and mirror aspects of human consciousness. Yet, in the middle of this rapid transformation, there can also be a liberating sense in breaking free from technology. Taking moments to disconnect, breathe, and reconnect with the world around us allow these moments of escape, reminding us what it truly means to be present.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Clinique Lacuna. ".move" comes off the new EP, Who Can Revive The City?, forthcoming on friendsome. The record is the result of an intense and passionate collaboration between the artists and the label over the past months.

This six-track project is an 80s-inspired electronic journey infused with pop influences, reminiscent of the theme song of an already cult TV series.

The duo envisioned a dystopian fictional city where radio stations have stopped broadcasting. Dreaming of becoming the saviors of the party, Clinique Lacuna aims to fix the ghetto blasters and awaken the slumbering crowds. They have dusted off the LinnDrums, Korg 700, D-50, and other essential 80s gear to capture the charm and nostalgia of a golden era in music. In a stronghold of underground resistance, an old sage told them they were the chosen ones—since then, they've been shredding their fingers on fierce basslines in search of the ultimate groove.

Born Alessandro Vaccari, MARTHIAL is a DJ, producer, and founder of Milan’s independent cultural hub, the Tempio del Futuro Perduto. Through this unique space and his 24/H Records label, MARTHIAL has collaborated with influential artists like Stanislav Tolkachev and Fabrizio Rat. His music evokes ethereal atmospheres and hypnotic rhythms, bridging Detroit-inspired soundscapes with innovative, interstellar journeys.

The EP represents a personal journey for MARTHIAL, who describes the process of revisiting this sonic language as an opportunity to redefine himself and his perspective on the world. By channelling the past as a guide and embracing the future as a responsibility, he crafts a cohesive narrative that combines deep emotional resonance with forward-thinking energy.

The beloved German producer talks about finding inner peace, overstimulation and his new album on Pampa Records.

Mental health is a topic that comes up frequently in the music industry, but it's still not discussed enough among electronic music's top performers. In this RA Exchange, Stefan Kozalla—better known as DJ Koze—opens up about his battle with anxiety, self-doubt and rising expectations that come with being a long-standing, high-profile name. He talks about overstimulation, music as rest and the compromises artists need to make to have relevance and staying power.

Kozalla, a beloved and eccentric German artist who has developed a cult following over the course of his career, has productions on esteemed labels like XL, Kompakt, Cocoon, Warp, Ninja Tune and BPitch, which garner praise as soon as they're released. "Every time DJ Koze comes out of the woodwork to drop a 12-inch—or even just a remix—we usually end up hearing it everywhere for months on end," wrote former RA editor Andrew Ryce.

Kozalla talks to RA contributor (and former editor) Matt Unicomb about his production process and early influences—an uncanny combination of Basic Channel and Public Enemy—as well as his forthcoming album, Music Can Hear Us, coming out on Pampa Records on April 4th. Listen to the episode in full. -Chloe Lula

“I like to give unknown artists a chance to rub shoulders with big names on our releases, not pre-judging their music based on the size of their profile. I scouted Stef and gave him his first release, and then followed to give advice over career choices. Something I’m proud to do with a lot of artists I work with” - Cleric

The final piece in this assortment of compositions comes from the Clergy boss himself with his ‘3/10 Remix’ of Felicie’s ‘Shadow Works’. With the surprise inclusion of fresh vocal component, Cleric distils the wooden thudding which clicked and clacked throughout the original and employs hissing synth elements to add a venomous turmoil and close the release in state of controlled commotion.

Big feelings for big rooms with the Club Heart Broken founder.

Club Heart Broken is perhaps a misnomer. The party and label, founded in Cologne by MALUGI, may take its name from one of life's tougher emotions, but the vibe is all about unfettered, unadulterated joy.

It's a state of mind its founder fully embodies—he's called himself the "happiest man in dance music." (We tried fact-checking this, but watching him perform seems proof enough.)

Club Heart Broken's motto is simple: a party should be fun. A "party for lovers, loners and losers," the crew also made up of ferrari rot, SURF 2 GLORY and fellow maximalist Marlon Hoffstadt, represent the sound of young Berlin in the 2020s, notorious as they are beloved.

Since relocating from Cologne, the party has snapped the German's capital infamously serious techno stereotype with its anything-goes, unpretentious music policy. It's made him and Hoffstadt especially in-demand worldwide—queues used to extend out of the door of Watergate and across Oberbaumbrücke.

Musically, MALUGI is the most eclectic in the crew. His metaphorical record bag carries a lot of label material, from zingy Eurodance to upbeat pumpers, but also plenty of steppy, tuff UK bass music. Releases from Main Phase and Interplanetary Criminal, the likes of dubplate label ec2a, and even the odd Big Ang record pepper his sets, much of which you'll hear here.

MALUGI's RA Podcast is a window into the more house-y side of his sound. From bubbling garage to chunky chords, RA.981 is a testament to MALUGI's belief: the best parties should leave you grinning, not crying.

1. Public Idea
2. See The Land
3. Angel Cycle
4. Renouncement
5. New Lost Center
6. Stand Still
7. Eyes On You

Opening with immersive noise textures, the record takes shape with the stern syncopated bass drum pressure of “See The Land”, echoing Portion Reform's classic The Supreme Negative. Disciplined cuts such as “Angel Cycle”, “Stand Still” or the remorseless title track further demonstrate the unstoppable forward momentum with which he’s been tearing up clubs across Europe. The final “Eyes On You” cloaks the listener with dream-pale atmospheres of drones, feedback and mutated vocals that almost feels like the embodiment of a gritty realization, of a burdened history that inescapably lingers within. It rounds off an EP that is clearly rooted in the rich history of extreme styles but never takes its eyes off the dancefloor. Recommended for everyone who’s into all the hard, uncompromising stuff!

Karachi-born artist Measure Divide now resides in Toronto, where his FORMAT parties have revived the techno scene over the last decade. In that time, he has eschewed techno by numbers with innovative sounds on Clergy and Mutual Rytm while appearing at iconic clubs like Berghain, K41 (∄ ) and Tresor. Outside of the underground, he has years of experience in sound design and scoring for animations and films, and that is what he channels here into a uniquely playful sound with a vibrant and playful departure from his usual serious tones for his first full EP on SHDW’s Mutual Rytm X.

A record for adventurous DJs and listeners craving bold, mischievous and innovative sounds, the EP’s title, inspired by an inside joke about calling anything edible “porridge”, reflects the chaotic and unpredictable state of the world - a mushy mix of uncertainty. This same unpredictability shines through the tracks, which combine techno, breaks, modular experimentation and plenty more.

The superbly original title cut begins with a restless mix of unusual percussive sounds and fizzing synths over thudding drums. It’s tense and twisted and sounds like nothing else. ‘Wormy Wonderland’ is another brilliantly out- there cut with freaky noises and scuzzy textures over body-popping techno drums, and ‘Eeeeeermmmm’ then slows down with a menacing synth buzz and caustic broken beats. Digital bonus tracks ‘Shrew Cascade’ and ‘Clumsy Clatter’ further challenge techno norms with watery sound effects, twisted synth lines and inventive rhythmical patterns.

Fresh off the release of her excellent debut album ‘Percussive reverie’, we welcome Aerae for MNMT 462. Aerae's music is shaped by the organic and unpredictable forces of the natural world. In the hands of the rising French artist, techno, downtempo and drum & bass are molded into unrecognizable forms, where evolving textures lock into enveloping and ritualistic grooves.

Tune in now for a deep trip diving into the psychedelic pulse of Aerae's sound. As the mix descends into the abyss of sonic sorcery and tribalistic hypnotism, you just might lose yourself, or your grip on reality - but for a mix this good it’s a price worth paying.

The first volume, releasing 28th March 2025, features a track from Bloody Mary and welcomes back Thomas P. Heckmann, E-Bony, and Hardfloor to the imprint.

15 Years Of Dame-Music Vol. 1 with label regular Thomas P. Heckmann’s ‘Days Of Buzz’ electrifying the dancefloor with waves of mind-melting acid over a resolute beat. Label head Bloody Mary then drops ‘Fractal Waves’, playful, 303-licked, and comfortably switching between straight 4/4 and raw, crunched-up breaks; this is a rave-ready cut showing Mary at her best.

On the flip, artist E-Bony returns to Dame-Music after closing the label’s 2024 schedule with the ‘Machine Code’ EP. His ‘303 Elements’ builds from a low-slung groove to an intense climax as acid drips, oozes and rains over crisp drums while hoover sounds create an otherworldly atmosphere at its peak. Closing out the first volume is 90s Acid Techno duo Hardfloor with ‘I’ll Never Own A Helicopter’, providing a hands-in-the-air club track to work the dancefloor into a frenzy.

@noizar's sound goes far beyond conventional house or techno. The Ukrainian DJ, who is now based in Amsterdam, has long since proven this with countless closing sets as resident at Kyiv’s legendary Closer club. It was there where he stood out for unearthing minimal techno treasures in places no one else looks. As such, you can always be sure that wherever Noizar mixes crop up online, they will be flooded with cheeky "ID?" requests, and quite often you will find they come on his vinyl-only Wicked Bass label.

For his Dekmantel Mix he offers a perfect snapshot of what he does in the booth: carefully dug out delights that don't really fit in usual categories. But they do tap into a specific deepness and groove that is rooted in Kyiv's minimal scene and the dance floor of Closer club. It results in a tight, taught hour of body music that perfectly balances function and form.

2. BEC - Tibetan Monks
3. Aida Arko - May Be Life Maybe Death
4. Sarah Sommers - Industrial Espionage
5. ANNĒ - A Tear In The Sofa
6. Gabby Diaz - Bloody Dance
7. DJ T-1000 - Unfeminine Woman
8. Byron Alvarado - I Wish You Had Listened To My Music
9. Omon Breaker - Interpreting Scars (feat. Garden Krist)
10. X-Alox - Sexy Sexy
11. Rebecca Delle Piane - Ammore
12. Dr. Rubinstein x Blind Observatory - Express Lane

A testament to the breadth of style and genre that keeps BPitch alight, each WE ARE NOT ALONE compilation offers an insight into varying subcultures, and connects the dots between artists across the globe with a shared vision. From acid to industrial, EBM to trance, genre denominations fizzle and make way for a feeling, carving a space for each artist to document their own interpretation of an energy that has sustained the label and event series since its inception.

Kicking things off is UFO Inc. regular DJ Europarking, whose ‘Faze Swapp’ walks the line between playful and unnerving. Drawing on the late ‘90s hard-trance energy, he hones in on his bouncy, immersive production style, setting the tone for what’s to come. Diving into the deep end, BEC lays down a hard, bass-heavy swirl of malfunctioning lasers and tweaky vocals on ‘Tibetan Monks’. Stepping further into the dramatic art, Aida Arko readies some genre-bending, innovative storytelling on ‘May Be Life Maybe Death’.

Berlin-based Sarah Sommers steps up with an all hardware journey of tension-building synths, deep bass and hypnotic percussion. Not letting her foot off the gas, Gabby Diaz follows up with a swarm of brutal kicks and wailing distortions on ‘Bloody Dance’. Leaning further into the groove, ‘A Tear In The Sofa’ by Annē offers a paired-back dose of darkened minimalism.

Detroit-born, Berlin-based maestro DJ T-1000 slides in with expertly layered rhythms and shuffling percussion on ‘Unfeminine Woman’. Also showing some love to the Detroit sound, Byron Alvarado’s offering leans on soulful, lightly-swung techno with melodic inflections and flickers of euphoria. Next up, Ukrainian Omon Breaker lines up an emotive cut of synthwave-influenced trance energy driven by Garden Krist’s glistening vocals.

Kicking off the home run, X-Alox plunges into chaotic acoustics and fast-paced, maximal percussion on ‘Sexy Sexy’. Rebecca Delle Piane’s ‘Ammore’ leads with a powerful kick snare combo, tying the threads between hypnotic and minimal in equal measure. Rounding things off, the inimitable Dr. Rubinstein teams up with Blind Observatory for ‘Express Lane’, a smooth hit of groovy acid landing softly on cloud nine.

Modern hypnotics from a new techno star.

It's a tale as old as time: techno DJ moves to Berlin to chase a dream. Philippa Pacho is part of the latest wave of talent to tread that familiar path. But don't let that fool you. She's one of the classiest artists around—no TikTok gimmicks here.

Pacho's formative years were spent in her native Stockholm, navigating a vibrant DIY party scene that included warehouse raves and illegal parties. She eventually took up a long-standing residency at beloved local club Under Bron and the experience, as she details in this week's Q&A, sharpened her technical skills, teaching her to handle every type of set—whether opening with patience, supporting a headliner or closing with finesse. She also played with countless touring DJs, from Answer Code Request to Antony Parasole, which ultimately inspired her move to Berlin.

That relocation has firmly paid off. It's a testament to Pacho's talent that you'll find her playing pretty much every big club and festival across Europe, from Berghain and Dekmantel to FOLD and Monument (we were exhausted just looking at her upcoming listings on RA). Other recent highlights include closing out Bassiani's tenth birthday, and back-to-backs with Fadi Mohem and Sandrien.

Pacho's RA Podcast showcases her preference for classy, hypnotic techno, striking a balance between muscle and subtle groove. Her aptitude for what makes dance floors tick is also evident on her two labels—Phorum Records and positivesource (co-run with Blue Hour)—both of which mirror her DJ style, blending intensity with delicate textures. positivesource has released several standout records, including this year's "Psycho" by BLANKA and Phil Berg's "Psyckik" (which you'll hear on this mix).

Spanning 70 minutes, RA.980 is a window into Pacho's thoroughly modern sound (the oldest track is from 2018). And yet it retains a refined, sweeping quality. Give it a spin and you'll soon twig why she's in demand on dance floors worldwide.

This EP doesn’t just push boundaries—it obliterates them. With over a decade of shaping the harder electronic underground, Jan has built a reputation for raw power, relentless energy, and basslines that hit like a sledgehammer. But this time, he’s taking a sharp turn—diving into the hypnotic depths of 90s-infused tools and dub techno, all with his signature twist.

Leading the charge is “Uncontrol Dub”—a force of nature wrapped in groove, where pulsating bass and eerie atmospheres lock you into an unstoppable rhythm. Dark, driving, and irresistibly heavy, this track demands movement.

Then there’s “NZJAM”—a kaleidoscopic blend of hypnotic loops and stuttering percussion, pulling you deep into a mind-bending sonic vortex. Strobes flash, the room sways, and suddenly, you’re lost in the groove.

And the onslaught continues. “Dimension Switch,” “Grooveblocks,” and “Machine Learning” are pure rhythm-driven weapons—tracks that evolve, shapeshift, and keep dancefloors in a state of controlled chaos. Imagine the raw energy of a 90s warehouse rave, re-engineered for 2025.

GTG SOLO is all about unearthing the most forward-thinking techno, and Jan Fleck is leading the charge. If you’re not sweating, shaking, or questioning reality by the end of this EP, you’re simply not playing it loud enough.

Disclaimer: We take no responsibility for blown speakers, sleepless nights, or sudden urges to quit your job and start a rave collective. But we will take credit for introducing you to this next chapter of Jan Fleck.

A long-standing resident of the infamous FOLD in London whose risen to prominence with electrifying performances across Europe and a growing discography on esteemed labels such as Ear To Ground, Natural Selection, Raw Quarter, Laburnum, and Mhost Likely , Andrømeda unveils her debut on Rant & Rave with Dark Matter EP. Drawing inspiration from the raw essence of ‘90s techno, with it she hones in her skills with modular synthesis and hardware production.

The EP opens with the title track, where a brooding tapestry of foreboding synths gradually rise in pitch and complexity, simulating the mysterious expansion of the cosmos. "Lost Planet" follows with hypnotic leads and an unyielding rhythm section. Appropriately titled "Black Hole" follows which cuts through with razor-sharp stabs and a resonating bassline.Closing with "El Abismo," Andrømeda ventures into darker sonic territories. This track is a no-holds-barred assault, where interwoven synth lines clash against commanding percussion and a punishing kick, asserting dominance over the dance floor with commanding force.

As a digital bonus, Andrømeda invites Severn Electronics label owner, 7XINS, who delivers an outstanding remix of "Black Hole." With his signature sound, 7XINS layers complex synth textures and reverberated drum patterns that twist the mind and tease the senses, crafting a remix that is as intricate as it is impactful.

His first full length effort will see a release via his own imprint, giving him the necessary creative control to purely realise his artistic vision of what will surely be an important milestone in his already 10 years career.

Formed from a collection of recordings made in a period from late 2023 to October 2024, ‘Eternal’ takes the shape of a techno album that is the result of his life experiences and knowledge of the genre coming together to create a defining body of work reflective of his skills as an electronic musician so far.

It mixes up the type of dance-floor belters that he is known for with a deeper exploration of more refined, elegant and emotional tracks to demonstrate a major evolution and maturing of Endlec’s music that may not have been foreseen a few years ago.

In 'Eternal' an expanded palette of textures and motifs are on display with engaging loop beats running against singular synthetic sounds, whilst raw rolling grooves are marching with intensity beneath them all, never getting locked into a monotonous rhythm.

Simply put, it's an essential piece of work that truly captures the essence of Endlec's sound with ten refined pieces of pure techno, balancing intricacy, rhythm and power whilst hinting at what is to come in the future.

The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from DMN. The Paris-based artist has been making waves since his debut in 2019. DMN has developed a hybrid and singular aesthetic blended with various influences. Radical and futuristic soundscapes rub shoulders with old school-inspired basslines, in an uninterrupted flow in which an intense and percussive rhythm dominates, sometimes contrasted by cutting edge Break or Electro bases. A pluralistic and eclectic approach echoing his programming for the MESS Paris events for which he manages the creative direction, in addition to heading his two own projects like Hentai's party. These various collaborations have fueled an overflowing creative appetite, opening up a fertile space for a continually renewed musical hybridization and experimentation. Today we bring you this dynamic journey through his sound.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Lokier. "Pretend" comes off the new EP, Back To It, forthcoming on Light Strike. The artist returns to her Light Strike label with a second EP which affirms her position at the vanguard of modern techno. Yoan Rodriguez Lokier's skill as a producer lies in conducting big room energy through electric sound design and thunderous production, and she shows it in no uncertain terms with this two-strong flash of peak-time, hard dance intensity.

Mexico-born Lokier has been recording and releasing electronic dance music for more than 10 years. 'Back To It' sets its intention from the very first bar, matching a deadly hard trance thrust with visceral, three-dimensional sound design and the steely focus of big room techno. It's an instant demonstration of how Lokier has developed her process, and an unfiltered expression of who she is as a music-lover first and foremost. 'Pretend' runs with the same upfront energy, but hits entirely differently thanks to a greater melodic focus and sprightly breakbeat rush that creates a distinct foil to 'Back To It'.

The EP consists of four original tracks and three remixes by Spanish producers WLDV and Nightcrawler, along with another remix by Colombian producer Filmmaker.

The Brvtalst is pleased to premiere a new track from Wellen.Brecher. "Julia" comes off the new release, LIEBESERKLÄRUNG, forthcoming on Berlin's KILLEKILL. Wellen.Brecher is an electronic band with punk attitude, which has been transcending and subverting electronic music genre boundaries for the past 6 years. After the release of Tierisch Verboten, which can confidently be described as the “soundtrack to inclusion”, and a strong second release on our label Killekill, LIEBESERKLÄRUNG is the band's first full-length album. Including a series of first-class remixes. Refreshingly, the entire release is not based on the corny bad trance traditions loved by contemporary Buffalo shoe wearers. Instead - intentionally or not - it follows a series of almost historical musical quotations from over the last 40 years with each track on the album feeling like a new adventure.

Featuring 8 original tracks and remixes by L.F.T., Alienata, Ben Pest, Fuzz Alien, Tooflez and Senator. LIEBESERKLÄRUNG is out on vinyl + digital March 14th. Pick it up at: https://killekill.bandcamp.com/album/liebeserkl-rung

Jo Johnson’s explorations in sound have ranged from free-form punk with Huggy Bear in the 90s, to underground techno in the 00s, and, for the last decade, deeply expressive electronic minimalism that pays tribute to the many women who pioneered this genre. She has released with respected labels including Further Records and Mysteries of the Deep in the US and Frequency Domain and Castles in Space in the UK. Her latest project, Alterations, is a 'slow' album that she is recording and self-releasing track-by-track throughout 2025.

For the fourth edition of Waves, Jo Johnson presents a mix of absolute celestial beauty, building delicately with deep and lush ambiance into a trip of interstellar melodies, this is the perfect way to start your week off right.

Sticktalk is a new breed of US talent who has made a mark on the underground with his innovative soundscapes and genre-blurring techno arrangements. He hails from Houston, a town with a diverse musical heritage that takes in everything from screwed hip hop, y2k r&b and plenty of alternative cultures. All of that feeds into his work on labels like Perfect Dark, Freq System's .mpfr3q and Clan Destine: it is eclectic, infused with rap, street and fresh rhythms and has had support from artists like BASSBEAR!!, Bae Blade and Christian Tokyo.

Say the artist, “The tracks were all written and recorded summer of ‘23. I locked myself in the studio at our underground techno club in Fort Worth called Machina for 24 hours and didn’t leave the room once while I cooked up the whole EP.”

Opener 'Da Body Drop' is high power, raw and swaggering techno with a dirty and distorted edge and rattling dub chords; It is perfect warehouse weaponry. 'City of Syrup' then keeps the sleazy vibes coming with high-speed kick patterns, overdriven claps, and twisted synth lines that are pure dynamite. 'Put a Hit Out' is no less gritty and muscular, but this time has swing in the drums and some brighter chords and chopped vocals, adding a playful twist. The brilliant 'Lay Em Dine' is another grimy techno banger with razor-sharp hi-hats cutting through the murk and warped synths, adding subtle machine soul.

Remixer NNTY is another Texan who has played a vital role in driving the scene forward with his no-nonsense sounds. Here, he flips 'Da Body Drop' into a wall-rattling techno bomb with slamming drums and hypnotic claps. It's a dense wall of sound detailed with vocal snatches, textured chords and twitchy stabs.

Tracklist:
1. Evil
2. Lahante
3. Dragonfly
4. Modulation Detected
5. Walking on Mars
6. Ohohoi
7. Pwiu

In-demand DJ/producer Yanamaste is a resident at Georgia’s renowned Khidi Club and a key part of Amsterdam’s Vault Sessions crew. His unique sound and fresh creative approach result in raw and visceral techno, reflecting his passion for pushing boundaries and showcased perfectly via his ‘Dance’ EP on Vault last year. Now, he returns with an EP born out of the creative process behind his live set with a debut appearance on SHDW’s Mutual Rytm, ‘Evil’ - a collection of heavily-requested tracks that have already made an impact after featuring in his Boiler Room and Stone Techno Festival livestream.

‘Evil’ kicks things off with perfectly rubbery, funky drum patterns and an urgent sense of movement that sweeps you off your feet. ‘Lahante’ is more percussive, with busy snares riding the rolling, forceful drums and stark synths arresting your attention. ‘Dragonfly’ is perfectly reduced via minimal drums intertwined with thunderous effects and ghoulish energy, while ‘Modulation Detected’ has a more cosmic feel as it journeys into the future with whispered spoken words and synths searching across the face of the groove. Last but not least is the irresistible broken beat goodness of ‘Walking On Mars’, with its swinging kicks and vast bassline spraying about the mix beneath hypnotic melodic patterns.

Two superb bonus cuts, ‘Ohohoi’ and ‘Pwiu’, are also provided for digital buyers, bringing further gems loaded with moody depths and compelling rhythms.

Mesmerising dance floor tapestries from a singular experimental musician.

Can you reinvent the human voice? The oldest musical instrument in existence, our voices are the foundation of music as we know it, and few push its limits in electronic music today like Lyra Pramuk. On her masterful debut, Fountain the Berlin-based, US-born artist's voice was the only instrument. No drums, no synths—just her voice warped, synthesized and layered to achieve orchestral-like electronics.

Five years on from her breakout, Pramuk's practice has steadily evolved, with a continued interest in ideas of folk and futurism, and how technology can enable us to build community beyond boundaries of time and space. There’s a holistic nature to her artistry, one that extends seamlessly into her DJing.

As she explains in the Q&A accompanying this week's RA Podcast, she sees her work as "part of a continuum of sacred, folkloric, and communal music represented by many different subcultures and communities across the world."

It's an approach that, like much of Pramuk's output, feels explicitly choral in nature. The first voice we hear on the mix comes from Lonnie Holley, his woozy Southern drawl calling out, "Earth will be there to catch us when we fall." (Although, you have to wonder, if we keep flogging the Earth, will it?)

More voices follow across an eye-catching tracklist, from the poetry of friends (Nadia Marcus) to esoteric French chantresses from the ’80s (Anne Gillis), while Pramuk wraps an extensive amount of her own forthcoming material around tracks from SD Laika, Leyland Kirby, rRoxymore and 33EMYBW, to name just a few.

By the end, voice and noise become indistinguishable—stammering, glitchy vocals colliding with an orchestra of instruments. The effect is mesmerising.

Unfolding as one continuous composition, RA.979 exists somewhere between an ambient set at Kwia and the main stage at Unsound, voices and textures blurred into a fluid tapestry of sound. It's a singular offering to the series from a singular artist.

Switzerland-via-Germany artist Rødig unveils his debut album, Human Machine, on his Shojiki label. It will be released on double-coloured vinyl and digitally on March 6, 2025.

Rødig’s cohesive and nuanced ‘Human Machine’ extended player balances moods and grooves, demonstrating his sound design skills and mastery of rhythmic syncopation. 'Artificial Interaction’ starts with scuffed-up kicks and dubby chords, creating a body-popping groove laced with gritty pads. Field recordings and live performance elements have been incorporated into the album on tracks like 'Breather,' where SOD-90's live flute and Rødig’s melodies add lush emotional layers.

Elsewhere, Rødig’s 'Catch Me If You Can' is a playful fusion of wispy cosmic melodies and well-swung drums with retro video game leads and 'Echoing Heartbeat' is a dense and kinetic rhythm with warped synths and tight percussive beats. The title track is a thumping but warm techno sound with a mischievous melodic edge, and 'Instinct' brings rock-solid techno loops and spaced-out ambient pads over a darkened bassline. 'Mode 174' is a synth scape that transforms into a deep techno roller before 'Update Cancelled' brings pressurised drums and razor-sharp percussion to a grainy, compelling groove.

Inspired as much by 90s Detroit as he is by modern-day sounds, Otium Records member and Shojiki founder Rødig has released a slew of tracks on both labels since the project’s inception in 2019. He now unveils his first full-length release for Shojiki, the double vinyl ‘Human Machine’ LP with eight tracks and four handy DJ tools already been supported by Boris, Ben Sims, and Laurent Garnier.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Grid User & Intergalactic Noize Commander. "Schatten der Macht" comes off the new release, Transcosmic, forthcoming on Ukraine's Mystictrax. A split release of two electro musicians at the crossroads of worlds - classic live electro from Germany's Intergalactic Noize Commander and a new-school sound from Ukraine's Grid User. @eli-verveine is a musical chameleon who can do it all from banging peak time sets to pensive warm-ups via weird and wonderful hour hours sessions. She has proven that over the years in many of the scene's most cultured clubs whether playing solo, B2B as Among Trees with Andrey Pushkarev or live with Gwenan as Gin & Tonic. On top of all this, she has a well-formed discography that delves further into her versatile sounds.

This week's mix reflects her musical malleability as she draws on plenty of diverse tempos and textures to craft a lively trip. There are moments of blissful deepness next to more nuanced rhythms, futuristic bass explorations and cosmic electro sojourns that keep things moving at pace, but always with great control and expert selections.
Back in 2023 we were lucky enough to release an exceptional podcast from Timnah - our ears were hooked! We immediately felt the potential and knew that she would be the DJ to provide the perfect festival afternoon soundtrack to our beloved forest.

Fast forward to Sunday afternoon at Monument Festival 2024, and Timnah’s set completely surpassed our already high expectations. From the moment she started, it was clear this was going to be something special.

Starting slow and deep, setting the stage like the opening of an epic tale, Timnah’s set unfolded layer by layer, note by note like a cinematic sonic story told deep in the forest by a master storyteller, one that could have only been by Timnah herself.

Regis and Function's first mix in over 10 years is a unique paean to Silent Servant, heavy on unreleased material.

When it came time for RA to compile our Albums of the 2010s, one record with a tauntingly limited availability of 500 copies was never in doubt: Sandwell District's era-defining 'Feed-Forward'. Encompassing Karl O'Connor (Regis), Peter Sutton (Female), David Sumner (Function) and Juan Mendez (Silent Servant), Sandwell District had the underground in a vice grip for over a decade.

The collective imploded in 2013, with Sumner and O'Connor's relationship appearing beyond repair. And yet, an unlikely second phase is here, featuring imminent comeback LP 'End Beginnings' and their return to the RA Podcast after 16 years. In 2023, the trio of Function, Regis and Silent Servant had been performing and laying down new material before the latter's shock death last January. It's in the shadow of loss that this unique mix was forged.

Founded in 2002 as a spiritual sister to seminal Downwards, Sandwell truly began to hit its straps in the late '00s, as shadow-stalking cuts sliced through clubland orthodoxy like a switchblade. In parallel, the label's artwork—a noir recombination of Burroughs cut-ups, DIY zines and arthouse amour that Silent Servant made his own—helped fortify a movement which placed an aesthetic premium on grit, grain and sadism.

By the early 2010s, this fixation on the dark arts had utterly permeated the mood inside techno's masonic temples. Labels like Blackest Ever Black, Stroboscopic Artefacts, Avian and Modern Love were in their pomp, razorwire legends like Severed Heads and Chris & Cosey benefited from second winds, and it was briefly a jailable offence to not have a press photo in black and white. 'Feed-Forward' was the exceptional coronating statement.

RA.978 features a stack of unheard recordings from each of the trio, as well as close allies Stefanie Parnow and Tropic of Cancer, while also gathering many of Silent Servant's all-time favourite songs, including Psychic TV, Grace Jones and Galaxie 500. It's a strikingly vulnerable listen, one without many parallels on the Podcast. We're glad to run it. – Gabriel Szatan

third wife is the 427th guest of our original HATE Podcast series.

Mikkel is currently working on a new album and took this opportunity to showcase some of the fresh material from it in the first part of the mix. Following that, the selection consists of some of his favorite tracks by producers he deeply admire. While the third wife's taste continues to evolve, he aimed to create a vibe that will stand the test of time. Where it leads remains to be seen, but regardless of the outcome, Mikkel is grateful for the chance to contribute to the HATE Podcast and appreciates the opportunity.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Velvet May. "The Dare Within" comes off the new EP, Ritualistic Pslam of Bravery Vol. 1, forthcoming on Tears on Waves. The artist's fourth EP brings back that raw dance-floor energy while blending hypnotic tribal textures with a ritualistic edge. It’s a body of work that fuses psychedelic textures, sharp grooves, and gritty ambience. This release weaves percussive, edgy, and distorted layers, igniting a wave of urgency and strength while striking a balance between the driving force of techno and the heavy grit of industrial. "Ritualistic Psalm of Bravery" is a modern hymn that channels the primal need for courage in a world of uncertainty, constructing a ritual where rhythm becomes mantra and distortion transforms into catharsis.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from mimmo. "Archives de l'autre monde" comes off the new EP SILLON, forthcoming on Run Level. The release is a collection of tracks composed between 2021 and 2024 in Nantes, inspired by places visited along the way—from the sunlit Mediterranean paths of Niolon to the enclosed spaces of the archives from another world.
Each track is a step along a furrow carved through wandering, like snapshots capturing moving landscapes, solitude, quiet rebirths, struggles with technology, chance encounters, and transformations of all kinds. Sillon aims to bridge the gap between a mental map and a road map. It’s a scar—the mark of passing time, the imprints of regional train lines across the French countryside—a necessary cut, a scarification that fuels movement.

On the flip, Dorbachov’s ‘Just Bump’ is a proper old-school Techno track, complete with classic hardcore-influenced rave stabs and pumping club rhythms that will keep the dancefloor moving. ‘Bog Rat’ then consists of moody sequences that ooze over hard-hitting drums, closing out this late-night underground offering.

"Ellesmere Street is a nod to the past, but with a firm eye on the future. It's about capturing that raw energy and spirit of the rave scene, where the music did the talking. It's a reminder of why we fell in love with techno in the first place." – Dorbachov

Irish Scrap & Delete founder Dorbachov makes music inspired by Hardcore and Techno from the 90s. Now based in Manchester, he’s released on labels like UKR, Wunderblock, Out Of CTRL and Gravitational Forces, with his ‘Ellesmere Street’ EP marking the third EP on his new Scrap & Delete label, which once again showcases his knack for calculated industrial sounds

Raucous club jams from the trio setting pace for a new generation of electronic fans: Dazegxd, gum.mp3 & Swami Sound, AKA EldiaNYC.

Something exciting is happening on the margins of online club music. As one generation ages out, another, predominantly made up of Zoomers and Zillennials who fell into rave music mid-pandemic or arrived via gaming, is on the rise. Some of the most dialled-in electronic fans out there have threadbare connection to formalised nightlife, filling their diet instead with DJ Ess, Jane Remover, Jet Set Radio and a thriving ecosystem of global splinter styles that would draw stares from anyone who settled into their preferences pre-2019.

Leading the charge—while pointedly reaffirming the value of connection as they go—are EldiaNYC, whose combination of jungle, garage, vintage Black American dance music, regional rap and screen-glued splinter styles hits like a shot of adrenaline. Swami Sound broke first with sexy drill-laced 2-step edits, and last year we named gum.mp3's "Black Life, Red Planet" as one of our favourite records—but it could have just as easily been Dazegxd's breaks-splicing "exhibition mode" instead.

Eldia stack sets on radio and at parties with startlingly-fresh producers, many still in their teens. This might also be the only RA Podcast to fold in soulful ghettotech from Mr De', head-in-the-clouds plugg from rising star 454, edits of both Bounty Killer and Toro Y Moi, and multiple names (Guido YZ, synta3x, DJ B) who haven't registered on the series before.

With one eye on the occasion, Eldia tip their hats to lineage, too. The trio kick off with a double scoop of Fred P, before ramping up steadily through slick forthcoming material and ironclad modern anthems on their way to a crescendo of footwork chops, baile drums and breakbeat delirium.

Leaders of a new wave in the US, it surely won't be long before Daze, gum and Swami have swept the international circuit. For now, RA.977 will leave your subs smoking.

The foundations for Clergy were first built in Manchester in the spring of 2015 with the release of Cleric’s ‘Codes Of Chaos’ EP. It marked the dawn of a new day for the UK techno doyen - whose stock as a DJ and producer was already soaring, but whose inimitable prowess for A&R was still yet to be recognised. Ten years, 40 releases and countless performances across the globe later, Cleric’s stock in the industry is now priceless.

Ten VA’s are already in motion, to celebrate the 10 Years Of Clergy this year, and the second instalment titled ‘Beta’ has another 5 original tracks, closing off with a remix from Cleric, for a track from the labels extensive catalogue over the years.

“I like to give unknown artists a chance to rub shoulders with big names on our releases, not pre-judging their music based on the size of their profile. I scouted Stef and gave him his first release, and then followed to give advice over career choices. Something I’m proud to do with a lot of artists I work with” - Cleric

As a DJ, producer, and co-founder of Arsenik, Dold has championed raw, unembellished techno since 2015. His releases on Key and Fuse blend Detroit techno’s legacy with IDM’s intricacy and ambient’s ethereal tones, creating a style that is both timeless and forward-thinking. Whether it's crafting tapestry’s recorded via hardware in the studio or performing live, Dold continues to innovate, honouring techno’s roots while exploring its future, and his talent is on full display across his label debut on Mutual Rytm X.

‘Grainy’ opens the EP and showcases Dold’s ability to craft deep and loopy techno with a stripped-back, emotive edge. It’s deft but enthralling, with innovative synths rising and falling through the minimal drums. ‘Surface’ is another compelling deep cut with hurried drum funk and subtle synth pulses, adding a futuristic edge to the groove. The fantastic ‘Blush’ brings smears of warm synth and machine soul to a dynamic dub techno rhythm that bends the past with the present. Digital bonus cuts ‘Dub at Heart (Club Version)’ and ‘Dub at Heart (Sofa Version)’ offer contrasting perspectives of the same track, with the first aiming directly for peak-time sessions, while the latter closes the package on a laid-back tip.

The EP opens with "Shadows of the Past," a track driven by a pulsating, groovy synth line and dynamic drum patterns that propel the rhythm forward. It seamlessly transitions into "Beaten," a dark, hypnotic piece that envelops the listener in a shadowy atmosphere.

The B-side begins with "Shamanic," a track that pays homage to a more classic techno sound while maintaining an irresistible, steady groove. Following this, "The Wall That We Build" offers a more delicate and minimalistic approach, balancing precision and subtlety. The journey concludes with "Tears of Light," an epic and transcendental piece that takes the listener to another dimension.

For the digital-only version, "Unstoppable Moves" is an additional gem, a loop-driven, repetitive masterpiece that never loses its captivating momentum.

Milan-based Piezo (@piezopz) sits at the heart of the current club sounds. He has long had an obsession with sound system music and that defines what he does today: mutant and beguiling club tracks with meticulous sound design and thrilling energy, heavy low ends and a real dose of UK influence from d&b to garage, grime and techno. He kicked off the year by dropping his genre-busting Ecstatic Nostalgia EP on our Dekmantel-UFO sub-label and now returns with a podcast that is just as fresh.

It's a futuristic mix of bleeping machines and lurching rhythms with bright synth designs and deep space ambience. Over the course of 90 minutes, the pace picks up and you're whisked along a variety of rhythms from broken to dubby, head spinning to minimal. It feels utterly spontaneous but is also a fully coherent mix from this restless innovator.
The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from DISCIPLINE. We are still unsure of her ethnicity or origin, but we are sure that with her passion and love for music, she will express her desires and cries through different dimensions and aspects in the near future. Finds herself addicted to electronic music, transmitting the vibrations of the soul through hard styles. Resident of the Abyss club in Shanghai we are thrilled to bring you this powerful set today.

Remma has played at institutions such as Dekmantel, Garage Noord and had multiple appearances at De School, where he was selected to play one of the final sets at the legendary ‘Het Einde’ closing party.

For MNMT 458 the young virtuoso shows skills and finesse behind the decks like that of a seasoned veteran, weaving together obscurities from by-gone eras with the freshest cuts into one seamless trip. No big hits, nothing obvious, just pure heads-down hypnotism.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track Myles Sergé. "Shoplifter (Black Mirror Park Deep Mix)" comes off the new release of the same name forthcoming on the artist's signature imprint. Hailing from Michigan, USA, vinyl and digital techno label (MS) is the creation of Myles Sergé, and it usually focuses on his own original works, but has also featured quality music from artists such as Gonzalo MD, Philippe Petit and Rennie Foster.

Now the label boss has put together a new remix package for the recently released track "Shoplifter," and his back catalogue includes appearances on labels like Zenker Brothers' Ilian Tape, Dan Curtin's Metamorphic, Dense & Pika's Kneaded Pains, and Esther Duijn's Another Earth, to name only a few. The original "Shoplifter" is a stripped-back and jackin' cut with a tool-like style and immersive, hypnotic style that's totally club ready.

Rouding off the remixes, Berlin's Black Mirror Park is a member of Sonntagsinstitut Collective, and lists works on Robert Hoff's trau-ma, dotwav's KONFLKT, Planet Rhythm, and DifferentSound. His remix closes out the release with a twisted and hypnotic rework that uses suspense and dubby tones to a create a contemporary piece with depth and soul intertwined to perfection.

Out February 28th. Pick it up at: https://mylesserge.bandcamp.com/album/ms12d-myles-serg-shoplifter-the-remixes

Percussion mastermind Ploy (@deejayploy) arrives on Dekmantel with a double-pack of unbridled dancefloor heat that sees him reconnecting with his house roots.

Before he made a striking breakthrough as Ploy with wayward broken techno for Hessle Audio and Timedance, Samuel Smith's first releases as Samuel were leftfield house excursions. On this release for Dekmantel he wanted to reflect on a decade of releasing music and the many high-impact dancefloors he's shared with the label, from Selectors to De School, over the years.

The common denominator across these eight tracks is no-nonsense house, offering up grooves that will serve a DJ exactly what they want in the mix. At the same time, Ploy doesn't dilute the distinctive edge of his sound, from the abundance of perfectly balanced percussion to the nagging hooks of an off-key synth line dropped at just the right moment. Wry samples inject the mischievous humour he's always creeping into his craft. This is where dancefloor magic is nurtured, hitting the sweet spot between rock solid reliability and the wild card energy that brings a heads-down set to life.

From 'Admirer's big room peaks to 'It's Later Than You Think's cosmic incantations, this is the sound of Ploy showing exactly what it takes to make laser-focused club bombs without losing one iota of his inimitable style.
The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from IS03. "Timed" comes off the new EP of the same forthcoming on People of the Light. Also known as Michael Newman he returns to the label
with a trio of sublimely deep and rhythmic tracks that underscore his distinctive sound. Seamlessly merging raw intensity with an edge of soulful depth, Timed EP is a refined modern Techno record which pays its dues to the history of the sound.

21st century electro-futurism, Helsinki style.

Sometime around a decade ago, electro started to surge onto dance floors again. A new generation of DJs, from Helena Hauff and DJ Stingray, brought the sci-fi, cyborg funk to new audiences, as a modern retool of the style began enjoying the ubiquity of its four-to-the-floor cousins. And few embody its future for our current decade like Sunny Seppä, AKA Sansibar.

Cutting his teeth in Helsinki's underground with residencies at Kaiku and Post Bar, Seppä's sound draws from a broad range of influences far from the Finnish capital. His first releases channeled the high-definition Motor City school of electro, but he has since evolved.

Not one to be confined by the narrow confines of any genre, the Finnish producer and DJ's discography has steadily begun to encompass a wider palette of influences, including releases with fellow new-gen electro artist Reptant.

It's no wonder Seppä has found a home on Kalahari Oyster Cult. Sans Musique was released by Rey Colino's label, and both are united by a love for an amalgamation of gritty and ecstatic sounds of the '90s. As Colino put it himself, the Cult espouses "nostalgia with a modern sound design."

You can hear that peppered throughout Seppä's RA Podcast. From Simulant's stone-cold classic "Wav.Form" to shades of tech house from the late '90s and early '00s (as well as some of his own unreleased material), the full vision of his broad sound world comes alive on RA.976. You won't technically hear too much electro in this mix—but underscoring many of the selections is the retro-futurism that electro elicits, that bleary-eyed optimism of dance music's halcyon era.

With a runtime of just over five and a half minutes, “By Myself” captures the essence of late-night euphoria, blending introspective melodies with an infectious pulse. Carla Schmitt’s ethereal vocals add an intimate layer, weaving a narrative of self-discovery and empowerment. Her hauntingly beautiful delivery elevates the track, setting it apart as a deeply personal yet universally relatable anthem. Leo Pol complements this with his nuanced approach to sound design, where lush pads and crisp percussive elements converge to create a sense of cinematic grandeur.

Fans of both artists will recognize the individual strengths they bring to the table, yet the track’s cohesive energy suggests something entirely fresh—a fusion that’s as innovative as it is timeless".

The EP begins with Freedom from Fear, a hypnotic, basement-inspired track driven by a continuous arpeggio that builds an atmosphere of tension and raw energy. Its counterpart, Freedom from Fear (Suburban Version), adds acid-infused textures and breakbeat rhythms, delivering a grittier, more kinetic interpretation.

Echoes of Freedom takes a reflective turn, drawing on Detroit influences with dubby pads and layered harmonics that evoke movement and introspection. The journey concludes with Tribute to 33, a heartfelt breakbeat composition dedicated to a late friend Andrea Bottacini. Melancholic yet uplifting, the track incorporates his friend’s voice, offering a moment of intimacy and reflection within the EP.

The Rilis series, originally launched in the '90s by the legendary Rino Cerrone (1972–2024), has always been a platform for underground and experimental techno. Since its relaunch in 2022, the series has been revitalised to spotlight artists who embody the same philosophy and has featured acclaimed names like A.Paul, DJ Dextro, Samuel L Session, Ritzi Lee, and more.

Lerio Corrado, a seasoned producer with releases on labels such as AnalyticTrail, Tronic, Second State, and Loose Records, used to be the exclusive opening act at the infamous Slow Pitch parties hosted by Rino Cerrone himself. These events were a showcase for Rino’s forward-thinking Techno House concept.

Lerio returns to Unrilis with a collection of tracks that highlight his unique blend of driving percussion and captivating sound design. The “Frame Tale” EP embodies the essence of the Rilis series: bold, innovative, and unapologetically underground.

"Frame Tale" opens the EP with fast, vibrant tribal rhythms and hypnotic synths that create an immersive atmosphere. "Enfasi" builds intensity with its powerful beats, filtered stabs, and layered sonic textures. Finally, "By One" closes the release with deep, rolling grooves and dark energy, making it perfect for peak-time moments on the dancefloor.

The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Boris. The iconic Berlin-based artist has long been a fixture in the local and international scene whether as a resident of Berghain or bringing his electrifying sets to countries all over the world. Deeply committed to the captivating magic that unfolds on the dance floor, this burning passion sparks a longing to shape, tease and playfully amplify the intensity of the dance floor action. With over two decades of experience as a producer for the likes of Ostgut Ton and Careless and as a DJ, he remains an unwavering, yet never predictable, mainstay.

Renowned for his extended, scorching techno closing sets, Boris is one of the most well-versed and dedicated protagonists in Berlin's vibrant queer electronic scene. However, to pigeonhole Boris only to Berlin would be doing him a disservice. In fact, his visits to legendary clubs like Paradise Garage and the Loft in New York City have left an indelible mark on his persona and DJ style.

We're honored to bring you this incredibly journey through his sound.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Ultraviolet. "00_grav" comes off the new EP, Digital Sludge, forthcoming on New Zealand's Club Unique. Kicking off the year, the label welcomes one of the most valuable gems of the Aotearoa underground, a producer and DJ with a truly deep knowledge and understanding of dance music; Ultraviolet.

EP opener ‘Aggregate’ sets a compelling tone; deep FM plucks accentuate a groovy sub line propelled by an insistent 4-to-the-floor kick and ride. A dizzying synth hook completes the playful offering which is sure to inspire quirky expression on the dancefloor. Moving into darker territory, ‘00_grav’ sees UV provide an expertly crafted atmospheric breakbeat environment to house a tortured and menacing 303 line. Straight to the shadow realm with this gritty number.

‘e2’ is the most whimsical offering, conjuring up imagery of a toxic waste laboratory evocative of the EP title. Relentless breakbeat chops and a bubbling synth sequence are circled by a fizzy reese-saw for an immersive and disorienting experience. Closing out the release is ‘Transfusion Module’; an absolute peak-time bush doof weapon guaranteed to leave even the most seasoned ravers satisfied.

Mariachiara Troianiello, the Italian sound artist behind the moniker Katatonic Silentio, works at the crossroads of electronic music, performing arts and sound studies. Active as a DJ for more than 15 years, her sets adopt multiple forms, fluctuating between an analogue past and a technological, fast-paced future. At times, her sets focus on pure abstraction, consisting of ethereal soundscapes that seek to transcend the tangible through a mix of musique concrète, world, spoken word, ambient or dub. At others, they come across as concrete and club-oriented, crossing techno, broken beats or drum'n'bass.

For MNMT 457, Katatonic Silentio presents this exceptional mix that intricately evolves with subtle and nuanced layers into a delicate yet mind-bending trip of unconventional rhythms and textures. Float into the depths now.
