Characterized by dense layers of foggy textures, rolling low-end pressure, and restrained yet immersive percussion, Scharf’s production builds tension through subtle evolution rather than excess - a sound equally meditative and functional, designed for introspective moments on the floor.
To complete the release, Juri Heidemann reimagines the title track Dunstfeld with a stripped but powerful reinterpretation, a driving and hypnotic remix that amplifies the original’s depth while pushing it firmly toward the peak-time.
IHT022 continues Inherit’s focus on precise, mood-driven techno - subtle, immersive, and made for dark, smoke-filled rooms.

PREMIERE: Monotronique - Hurry Up! [IRIY]
THE BRVTALIST
The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Monotronique. "Hurry Up!" is the first single from the Kharkiv-based producer off his forthcoming album Mr. Procrastinator, out later this year on Iriy Records. Hurry Up! sets the tone for the whole record — a nervous, self-ironic reflection on creative paralysis, burnout, and the pressure to “finally finish that damn project.” Written under real-life deadlines and broken promises to deliver on time, the track captures the chaos of the modern attention span: part techno urgency, part existential scroll.
“Hurry Up! came out during one of those weeks when everything feels like too much and nothing moves. I was supposed to finish the album months ago, kept pushing it back, then suddenly there’s a deadline and you’re just sitting there scrolling instead of working. At some point I got sick of feeling guilty and decided to make something out of that exact feeling — rush, noise, and frustration. That’s how the track appeared,” says Monotronique.
Single out November 7th on Kyiv's Iriy Records. Get it at:

https://mutual-rytm.bandcamp.com/https://soundcloud.com/shdw-mutual-rytmhttps://www.instagram.com/mutual_rytm/The fourth edition of SHDW’s flagship ‘Federation Of Rytm’ VA series has been carefully curated by the DJ/ producer and head honcho over more than a year, with close attention to detail given to sequencing. It is a balance of label regulars and debutants that represents the past, present, and future, both sonically and through the generational diversity of the artists involved. There are plenty of surprises along the way while always remaining true to the Mutual Rytm ethos and reflecting the journey of the night from start to finish, whether that's in intimate, sweaty clubs or on big festival stages.
"I’ve lived with most of these tracks for over a year, testing them on the dancefloor and fine-tuning the selection. Each comes from artists I deeply admire, making this compilation a snapshot of the label’s evolution and a glimpse of what’s next. ‘Federation Of Rytm IV’ celebrates connection across generations, while capturing the sounds that inspire me most — telling a story from start to finish.” – SHDW.
Across 30 tracks in the digital collection and 24 on four sides of wax, the release explores the full breadth of the Mutual Rytm sound. Driving grooves and relentless percussion set the pace, gradually unfolding into hypnotic and atmospheric passages that invite deeper immersion. Pulsating low-end power alternates with eerie minimalism, while bursts of futuristic energy and cavernous kick drums keep the tension high. Elsewhere, dub textures and moments of introspection provide balance, creating a narrative arc that moves fluidly between intensity and release, atmosphere and tension, darkness and light.

PREMIERE: IZAN CRAMER - 00:00
THE BRVTALIST
The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from IZAN CRAMER. "00:00" is the title track off the new EP from the Barcelona-based artist. "00:00" distills a raw, minimalist aesthetic with clinical precision across eight tracks, poised to become a timeless record. It invites listeners on an “interplanetary inward journey,” exploring the strange serenity found in resignation, coldness, and emotional anesthesia — suggesting that “in a world designed to crush you, you simply watch, waiting with hope for the moment when the world finds its center again.”
The title was inspired by a personal experience: the forced closure of Izan’s club, which led him to discover a stoic beauty in the midst of adversity. For him, “00:00 is everything because it is nothing. It is a new beginning, a new chance — where everything that takes life away from us is what ultimately gives it back.”

Dekmantel Mix 499 - skyra (live)
Dekmantel Podcast
skyra is one of the local artists who has put Georgia's underground scene firmly on the map. His regular appearances at Tbilisi's cult Bassiani club have been key to that, and in August, he will showcase exactly what he's all about when he plays live for us at Selectors with Hamatsuki: deep but driving house music that's bathed in lush melodics but never short on low-end power. Next year, he has plenty of music coming up, including a release on Unforeseen with Hamatsuki.
To get you in the mood for all that is to come, he has laid down a one-hour live showcase that layers up smooth, supple, seductive drums with dreamy pads and neon melodies. The whole set glows with a late-night warmth and finds a perfect balance between beauty and beat-driven hypnosis.

Monument Festival 2025 : DOLTZ (live)
Monument Podcast
It’s peak Saturday night. Lasers, smoke, hazy dreams and perfectly tuned F1’s, even the trees are buzzing. The forest knows. Knows that a Japanese techno sensei is secretly entering Varden at 02:30 in the cover of darkness.
DOLTZ is a surprise, and not listed in the program. He comes in with an ambient, almost psychedelic sound. Then slowly layering of all the little sounds that circle around the main beat, letting tension build, balancing experimental and driving techno. There are no sudden drops, but periods of pulling back before reintroducing energy to the dance floor.
DOLTZ took us with him into what felt like a wormhole. The beat held us steady, but everything around it was spinning, stretching, and folding in on itself. The reactions from the Monument family were as different as they were similar. Some were jumping, some were shaking, others were dancing pirouettes, moving slowly, or standing still. At times, it was like being inside a centrifuge or a washing machine. Not dizzy, but surrounded, as if the sound pressed against the body. His set was a physical experience: immersive, disorienting, yet weirdly grounding at the same time.
Friends, step into the rocketship and journey through the wormhole once again. Return to Doltz at Varden. The techno gods were smiling from ear to ear that night.

RA.1011 Carrier
RA Podcast
Dubwise atmospherics flood Guy Brewer's third RA Mix.
Hear the word "Dionysus" and you picture the Greek god of ecstasy: overflowing tables, delirious revelry, chaos. Not the austere soundworld of Guy Brewer, AKA Carrier. On the surface, the UK artist's latest alias feels almost Spartan. But look closer and the Dionysian link starts to show: it's about shedding fixed forms and identities, to allow something more true, more alive, to form.
RA.1011 marks Brewer's third entry in the RA Mix series, following editions as drum & bass outfit Commix (RA.269) and, later, the techno alias Shifted (RA.310). "I guess it's an effort to step away from purism," Brewer told Resident Advisor back in 2023. "Right now the thresholds between genres are where you find the most exciting music."
Carrier's phenomenal debut album, Rhythm Immortal, delivers on that promise. Low-end pressure cloaks like foreboding shadows, punctured only by eerie, otherworldly percussion comparable only to Photek or T++. Listen to the LP in full and it feels like walking through a scene in a true-crime drama: a fog-drenched city street in the deep of night, ambushed by gusts of wind, whispers and strange noises—and it sounds totally, utterly original.
Tracing a line through dub pressure, fractured percussion and narcotic ambience, Brewer explores that same world on RA.1011. As with the album, there's a primal pulse that threads through the recording. Walls of negative space seem to hover before dissolving inexplicably, their tension intact; drums move more like the weather than rhythm. - Bella Aquilina

EX.781 Paul van Dyk
RA Podcast
The German legend talks about the state of modern trance, what it takes to create a legacy and writing his most recent album.
Poll the average dance music fan and they'll have almost certainly heard of Paul van Dyk. The German DJ and producer is so synonymous with trance that it's impossible to talk about the genre's history without mentioning his name. He's also been one of the most successful electronic artists full-stop since the '90s, when he first started touring around Berlin. His 1994 hit "For an Angel" launched him into the limelight, and he's been selling out clubs and arenas ever since.
In this RA Exchange recorded at the Berlin Synth Museum, he reflected on the current state of trance and how its modern DJs are missing the mark; his lifelong engagement with politics and his efforts to enlist Americans to vote alongside Bono; his experience growing up in East Berlin; and a life-threatening accident he suffered at a festival in Utrecht, which left him with multiple spine and brain injuries. He said the experience taught him to cherish every part of life, and that love is the greatest and most healing power that exists.
Van Dyk's most recent album is called This World is Ours, and in this conversation he unpacks the accompanying tour and some of the key themes that run through the tracks—namely, the rise of AI and our need to unite in the face of a non-human ruling elite. You can watch it on our YouTube channel, or listen to the episode in full. -Chloe Lula

The EP opens with the title track 'Drivetonik', a brand-new production that sets the tone: raw, rolling and built to move bodies. A straight-up Hardgroove banger, it's Bailey at his most focused. All momentum, no compromise. What follows is a rare treat for longtime heads: three classic tracks, originally released on the legendary Primate Recordings, now freshly remastered for 2025. 'Hustler' brings the bounce with its infectious and instantly effective sound. 'Karma' leans into tribal rhythms and percussive layering, while 'Konverter' cuts through with synth stabs and vocal chops, offering a punchy, streamlined ride through early-2000s funk. To close things out, Swedish Hardgroove legend Hertz steps in to rework 'Konverter', injecting his signature style into a remix that's as crisp as it is driving, a perfect fusion of old-school grit and modern precision.
With each release, Backspin Records continues its mission to rediscover, revive, and redefine the foundations of 2000s groove-driven techno. With the 'Drivetonik' EP, Marco Bailey shows us why his legacy remains firmly embedded in the genre's foundation.

The compilation resists uniformity. Instead, it thrives on contrast: tension versus release, density against spaciousness, rhythm in all its permutations. From high-energy metallic openers and dub-inflected body rollers, to disorienting, delay-heavy experiments and stripped-back percussive tools, each contribution reveals a unique grip on groove and detail. Some tracks move like engineered machines: sharp, robotic, and syncopated to surgical precision. Others embrace sensuality and unpredictability, exploring spatial motion, layered harmonic friction, and states of controlled chaos.
Each piece acts as a structural component in a larger sonic architecture, where tension is built, collapsed, and rebuilt. Friction becomes a form of choreography. Across the record, a shifting palette of emotional mechanisms takes form; granular and magnetic, haunting and quietly forceful, restrained, then disruptive.
More than a retrospective, SK_eleven’s first compilation becomes a collective gesture toward techno’s unresolved possibilities: its ability to hold contradiction, remain in flux, and mutate without conclusion.

"Combining sounds that wouldn't normally be thought of together." So reads the final line of Mexican DJ and producer 1OO1O's short-but-sweet artist bio. It's a claim many make but few pull off. Are truly new fusions still even possible in 2025? Hasn't electronic music reached saturation point? Not in the hands of 1OO1O, AKA uno cero cero uno cero, or one O O one O.
For the best part of a decade, the Xalapa-born artist has been mashing up footwork, jungle, techno, electro, UK garage and breaks with Latin America's myriad folkloric styles, from salsa and merengue to mambo and dembow. The results, like 2023's SALSA & BREAX, or last year's SALÓN CANDELA, feel electrifyingly fresh, connecting threads across eras and traditions with a subtle dexterity. The secret is a deep respect for the source material.
Indeed, foregrounding the best of Latin America—and specifically Mexico—is the dominant theme on RA.1010 (do you like what we did there?). By his own admission, 1OO1O switched up his DJing a couple years ago to prioritise music made locally or regionally by himself and his friends. At a time when Latin American culture is both at its peak and yet still constantly "reshaping itself to accommodate tourists and 'expats,'" his sets in clubs, festivals and radio stations around the world are his way of spreading the gospel.
This 70-minute mix, then, is heavy on both Mexican talent—Regal86, DNZA, AAAA, Loris, FRAN G—and unreleased 1OO1O tracks. It's tough, rhythmic and strikingly modern, with just the right balance of light and intensity. Given the glut of local music, a late cameo from London grime MC Trim glistens like an emerald in the sun. If you want to know what the cool kids are raving to in Monterrey, Guadalajara and Mexico City right now, here's your answer. - Carlos Hawthorn

This foundation shaped his distinctive style - dark, gritty textures and noisy soundscapes, all sharpened with modern production precision. His sound bridges nostalgia with a forward-thinking edge, creating atmospheres that feel both current and timeless.

https://soundcloud.com/otiumdistricthttps://www.instagram.com/otiumdistricthttps://www.facebook.com/OTIUMDISTRICT/Opener 'Beneath It All' is deep, booming, but supple techno with eerie pads and heavily processed vocals that is deliciously dark and broody. Swiss-born, Berlin-based turntablist DJ SUN remixes and layers in more texture with glitchy percussion and ghostly pads and vocals that crank up the intensity and make for a freaky atmosphere. SVNX's 'Creature' is another taught and stripped-back sound, with potent kicks setting the groove while warped pads and scuttling sounds bring it to life. Minimal in design but maximal in impact, it's perfectly designed and heads down for the backroom. Remixing this one is Berlin-based Shojiki Records head Rødig. He brings his signature driving, percussive grooves and heavyweight drums, topped with abstract cosmic menace.
SVNX's Final Cut is 'Energy Emanation' , a muscular and driving rhythm with tight drums and hits, smeared vocal sounds, and unrelenting tension all locking you in for the ride. Poland's Kabay, a regular on Clergy, Bipolar Disorder, and 01366, completes the package with his perfect blend of forward motion and heady details as psychedelic synths swirl around a driving, thudding groove.

New Brvtalism No. 473 - Anml Mthr
THE BRVTALIST
The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Anml Mthr. The Austrian hardware-only live act is heavily influenced by the Vienna and Berlin Techno scene of the 90s. His productions under different monikers in underground dubstep and hardcore can be traced back until the late 90s, but with Anml Mthr he found a home to combine his rough sub bass with driving and chellanging acid lines and synth sequences. Today we bring you this big set through his sound.

PREMIERE: Rea K, WM - Abrasive [DIFFUSE REALITY]
THE BRVTALIST
The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Rea K, WM. "Abrasive" comes off the new album, Songs of Spirits, forthcoming on Diffuse Reality. A journey of inner transformation where raw techno, psychedelic textures, organic fragments, and experimental soundscapes converge. Each track becomes a threshold, opening onto shifting landscapes where rhythm is both pulse and trance, body and spirit. This album is not designed for linear listening but as an immersive map of metamorphosis: from chaos to silence, from darkness to light, from the material to the invisible. Sound here is not just vibration but invocation — a voice that awakens hidden layers of perception. Created by rea k and wm, Song of Spirits invites the listener to abandon control and enter a state of resonance, where imagination expands and the spirit sings through noise, rhythm, and silence. It is not music to be consumed, but a passage to be crossed.
Pick it up at:

MNMT 491 : Reka Zalan
Monument Podcast
Reka Zalan is a Berlin based DJ, who is deeply embedded in the DNA of Berlin's landscape - as a Tresor resident since 2023, a Hard Wax staffer and a member of the Coppi collective. She has laid down her powerful and psychedelic grooves at legendary institutions like Berghain, Vault Sessions, Fusion Festival, Ankali and more.
The mix dives into the depths of atmospheric, cavernous techno before propelling into the expanse of hyperspace as it builds with speed and intensity. A consistent thread of dense psychedelia is seamlessly woven throughout the entire session - an odyssey for those deep cerebral synapses. The mix moves forward, outward, and inward, balancing tension and flow - a voyage of duality: it’s both grounding and mind-bending, accelerating yet perfectly controlled. A complex, heads-down trip that perfectly showcases a master selector at work.
Prepare for launch. Dive into deep space now.

features tracks from Weever, Endless Nothing, Mova, and Nero. Weever, rooted in Rennes (France) and founder of the Vives label (2020), moves between shadow and light, sculpting abstract sonic landscapes, vast, textured tunnels that resonate with rare musical depth.
His sound weaves industrial harshness with baroque elegance, raising towering sonic cathedrals. It’s a delicate balance of raw intensity and deliberate craft.

https://mutual-rytm.bandcamp.com/https://soundcloud.com/shdw-mutual-rytmhttps://www.instagram.com/mutual_rytm/The fourth edition of SHDW’s flagship ‘Federation Of Rytm’ VA series has been carefully curated by the DJ/ producer and head honcho over more than a year, with close attention to detail given to sequencing.

PREMIERE: V-Shape - Uneven Moments of Bliss [WBM063D]
THE BRVTALIST
The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from V-Shape. "Uneven Moments of Bliss" comes off the new EP of the same name forthcoming on webuildmachines. V-Shape’s debut EP is the result of two years refining and dismantling his influences to carve out a sound beyond conventional club frameworks. This release is a personal statement, a reflection of his journey so far—an inner dialogue translated into sound. Expect fractured rhythms, industrial percussion, distorted low-end pressure, abrasive textures, and heavy atmospheres. From within this density, fragile yet euphoric melodies break through, offering rare moments of cathartic release.
A meditation on conflict and balance, Uneven Moments Of Bliss is both a descent into darkness and an ascent toward something luminous.

1. Before I Knew The Words
2. In Memory Of
Taken together, the diptych is François X’s most personal work to date. It reframes techno not as a detached exercise in form, but as a language of memory and presence, music that belongs to both the body and the self.
As ever, François X’s sound is caught between lineages. Rooted in the legacy of Black American dance music but shaped by the European club experience, it refuses to treat those influences as separate. They echo through each other here, hybrid and inseparable, just as they do in the artist himself.
Part II distills this into two striking statements. Before I Knew The World is immersive and weighty, built on reverberant kicks and deep pads that pull you in like gravity. In Memory Of is more direct: a driving, knight-like piece of techno that balances percussive force with tenderness, offering affirmation rather than confrontation.
More than a release, The Skin Between Us asks what it means to belong to a scene, to a lineage, to a body. François X doesn’t attempt to answer. Instead, he creates presence: techno that remembers, resists, and insists on its own language
The vinyl edition presses both parts into a single object: tension and clarity fused, a reminder that these are not separate states but two faces of the same coin.

Dekmantel Mix 498 - DJ Frog
Dekmantel Podcast
Our next mix comes from Montreal’s enigmatic DJ Frog. Dusty loops and crushed grooves are the highlight of this Doo Records mainstay. Her selections and productions flutter between the minimalist zones of house and dubby techno. It takes in a whole host of unreleased material from Cheeks, Hashman DJ and sometime studio collaborator SnP 500 and stays resolutely buried in swampy sonics and swirling dub undercurrents. Subtlety is key to how moods are built up, then fade away. There are no big moments, just a slow teasing of tension that grows ever more irresistible.

MNMT Recordings : Pjenné — Pe:rsona 2025
Monument Podcast
“This set was recorded live 5-7pm, Saturday evening at Pe:rsona, 2025. The seemingly last dry-ish stretch and set of wild (weather) weekend, sunshowers made way for glistening droplets to sparkle through the shade sails and lay foundation for me to weave between deeper percussive cuts and shiny crystalline daytime techno.”
Pjenné is a Naarm/Melbourne-based DJ, radio broadcaster, curator and label manager. Her musical identity is shaped by the expansive, psychedelic soundscapes of the southern bush, an influence that permeates her trance-inducing, progressive, and hypnotic selections.
Pjenné’s sets are characterised by deep-digging selections and an impeccable narrative craft, both of which are on full display in this masterfully executed recording. Tune in now for two hours of deep, lush afternoon techno daydreams.

RA.1009 Shinichi Atobe
RA Podcast
The first-ever live recording from an elusive icon of dubby electronic music.
Lore is an underrated quality. Neuroscientists have mapped that music elicits similar feelings in the brain to when we satiate cravings, but what about the psychological impulse that drives listeners of a certain disposition toward everything they don't know?
It's tricky to put your finger on, but artists able to conjure intrigue without overhawking the backstory can really cut through—just ask SAULT, [ar:pi:ar] or Gerald Donald. Then there are those who don't try whatsoever. These are the ones who stay in mind the most.
In 2001, a striking 12" called Ship-Scope emerged through Chain Reaction, credited to Shinichi Atobe, with no other info available. Okay, mulled fans, this is probably a cat-and-mouse game dreamed up by someone on a label with a fine line in foggy obfuscation. Vainqueur on a wind-up? Another Moritz 'n Mark alias?
But no: Atobe was real, and really had posted a demo to Hard Wax. It was that simple. Then he went back to his day job—until, after 13 years of silence, an even better follow-up emerged.
From the near-perfect Butterfly Effect onwards, Atobe has built up one of the most revered catalogues in underground circles. A steady clip of elegant, transportive dub techno and deep electronics has arrived on Demdike Stare's DDS, complimented by the launch of his own label, plastic & sounds, earlier in summer 2025.
Atobe has also made strides into the public domain, DJing intermittently, as well as performing live for the first time in 2023, gracing WWW at the tender age of 52. It's that debut 2023 show heard on RA.1009: a hypnotic yet comparatively pumping set full of Atobe staples, as well as material you won't find anywhere else.
Contact with the big man, as you might anticipate, is glacial: since we first reached out, the RA Mix has changed name, look and rolled over into its second millennium. Still, patience pays off. This is a one-off we're stoked to run. – Gabriel Szatan

"I wanted to show in this mix exactly where I am musically just now. As usual, I like to include a lot of my own productions in the mix, as I feel this gives it more of a personal touch and an identity. The main focus for me is keeping the energy throughout the mix. I never like it to drop at any point with long breaks.
I like to meander through the darkness, occasionally tapping into more housey, funky, colorful vibes, which you will hear in this mix.

4. Together In A Rural Place
5. Moment To Memory
6. Recircuit
7. Reclaim
This fixing of time is also given a different meaning as the EP explores the ways in which intense moments in our lives, both joyful and painful, are crystallised into memory, both beautiful and haunting, lingering long after they've passed.
Layered meanings are employed throughout as Kerrie explores this idea: Live Wire draws connections between circuit boards and the human nervous system, whilst also toying with multiple meanings of the word “live”.
Echoes Of channels classic Detroit techno influences, resonating with the distant hum of memories that refuse to fade, while Moment To Memory is a beatless, floating piece which slowly builds to an ecstatic crescendo.
Digital bonus tracks Recircuit and Reclaim add further depth to the core metaphor: the former a driving, minimal yet building techno work-out, and the latter a cathartic and emotionally open track that delivers intensity with vulnerability.
Echoes Of The Live Wire reflects on memory as a complex, dual-sided force where joy and pain coexist with equal weight. Her creative process becomes a form of meditation and emotional processing, using machines to process, reflect, and let go.
The result is a body of work that loops back on itself, telling a story of fleeting moments and their lasting emotional imprints.

There are few names as widely loved in clubland as Bristol-based producer Omar McCutcheon, AKA Batu.
His label Timedance, currently celebrating its ten-year anniversary, has been instrumental in shaping a certain corner of contemporary electronic music. It champions a mutant, rhythmic, UK-flavoured sound that escapes any obvious genre touchstones, as well as spotlighting the careers of artists like Verraco, Ploy and Hodge who push musical and cultural boundaries.
In this Exchange, McCutcheon sat down with Resident Advisor's editor, Gabriel Szatan, in London to reflect on the label's Afrofuturist philosophy, its journey over the past decade and the sense of purpose and direction that have developed over time. He spoke about the impact that scenes beyond the UK—such as China, South Africa, Brazil and Mexico—have had on his productions and label curation, and how they offer fresh perspectives that contrast with Europe's sometimes overly nostalgic take on dance music. He also discussed finding positivity in a dark time, and music's enduring potential to inspire and connect.

The Amsterdam based producer’s ultra finessed sounds have been released on the likes of Hayes, Somov, SYXT as well a string of exceptional recent releases on his own Rhiza Semar label. As a DJ he serves as a resident at the infamous Eerste Communie parties, as well as playing legendary institutions like Tresor, Bassiani, De School and more.
“For this mix I wanted to trace a descent through shifting temporal layers; beginning in a state of suspension, slowly moving into trance-inducing motion before dissolving again into the subterranean. It travels from fluid, hypnotic rhythm into zones of disorientation and release; a process of acceleration, collapse, and renewal. Recorded as a continuous narrative rather than a set, it mirrors my current pull toward a landscape where ancient ritual and submerged hypnosis blend into an organic accelerated pulse where momentum and meditation intertwine beneath the surface.”
Forget relentless peaks, this is techno that demands deep immersion, challenging yet deeply rewarding, a deep trip of tension and release on a microscopic level. A tale of masterfully executed cerebral hypnosis, told across two chapters of disintegration through terrains that feel simultaneously ancient and futuristic. A dialogue between soil and circuitry, pulse and void.

4. Yanamaste - Broken Woods
5. Sept - Down From The Summit
They're well established, yet fresh in their approach to sound and dancefloor spark. From aquatic, bleepy grooves delivered by the Munich duo Glaskin, through perfectly deep, enigmatic cut by the talented IGLO, playful minimalism of our French brother Sicion, then rich and pacey firecracker from the Georgian temper Yanamaste, to the label regular, our own Sept, with an epic finale full of tension and poignant chords.
This is our statement of quality and timelessness - a material that we are more than proud to press onto vinyl to prolong its resonance. Vital and elegant techno expressing the dance-like power of maximalism through minimalism.

Z.I.P.P.O and Claudio PRC follow with “Marte Rosso”, a poetic excursion across Martian landscapes shaped by evolving pads and hypnotic grooves. D-Leria’s “Underwater” plunges deeper still, driven by relentless modular propulsion and immersive aquatic textures.
The B-side expands the spectrum. Stephanie Sykes & Dyad contribute with What Remains, a roller infused with spiritual intensity and organ-like resonance, while BIMOL’s “Fragmento en La” twists cinematic atmospheres and industrial edges into broken rhythms guided by a haunting Spanish vocal. Bringing the record to a close, Decoder delivers “We Keep Lying To Ourselves”—a slow-burning, 808-driven piece of subtle progression and timeless elegance.

THE BRVTALIST
The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Piotr Figiel. "The Truth Is Out There" comes off the new EP, Black And White Memories Of The Color TV Era". When black and white TV ceased to exist humanity started to dream in colour again, how do you remember your past? Figiel remembers it as bright blinding light of the 90s and 00s, full of mystery and things people never thought were possible. Now he comes back to those memories presenting 4 mystery inspired raw techno tracks. As usual expect groove, hypnosis and atmosphere combined.

It reflects the duality between flow and restraint, between self-exploration and the healthy act of setting limits. At its core lies a certain nonchalance - a refusal to act on voices and trends while maintaining full commitment to sound itself.
Meticulous sound design, unpredictable, morphing basslines and an intentional timeless aesthetic offer a rare window into Peryl’s creative state of mind. Even as he tries to sidestep personal narratives, emotions inevitably surface in the music, subtly shaping its character. The result is not a confessional piece of work, but an abstraction that remains universal rather than private, while still carrying a trace of personal truth. Four tracks that are striking a rare balance between novelty, grace and aggressive functionality, including a remix by Rødhåd, offer to find purpose in the act of believing that sooner or later art reveals a logic of its own.

PREMIERE: ANML MTHR - Grain Diver [X-IZE02]
THE BRVTALIST
The Brvtalist is pleaesed to premiere a new track from Anml Mthr. "Grain Diver" comes off the new split EP forthcoming on Berlin's X-IZE. The label kicks off a new chapter with its first split release, bringing together ANML MTHR & Escape on Tape. Fresh out of the oven: X-IZE02.
Pure acid, no compromise. A split EP delivering two distinct visions of the rave spirit. Hard times call for hard 303s – and we answer with four tracks of stripped-down, old-school energy built for the floor.
ANML MTHR, known for his well-crafted live sets, takes over the A-side, twisting and bending the 303 to its very limits. On the flip, Escape on Tape locks into the 90s tempo, energetic synths who are driving you straight into a journey back to the future.
Out October 22nd. Get it at:

RA.1008 Enzo Siragusa
RA Podcast
A joyride through rave-ready tech house, speed garage, jungle and more.
To the casual onlooker, Enzo Siragusa may seem easy to pigeonhole as just a UK DJ playing chunky house music. Wrong. The Maidenhead native has serious pedigree, earned from 30-plus years fully immersed in the rave, first as a dancer at jungle and hardcore parties, then as a hobby DJ and finally as the cofounder of one of London's most influential club nights: Fuse.
What began life in 2008 as a ramshackle afterparty on Brick Lane is now a global brand with multiple festivals and roving events, and Siragusa its figurehead. For years, Fuse's MO was doggedly down to earth, built on a love for intimate shows where the residents took top billing.
Its impact on modern dance culture is clear to see in the runaway success of the so-called UK tech house movement (think Michael Bibi, PAWSA and Chris Stussy). And yet Fuse always cut deeper, darker and dubbier.
"I felt you could bring the emotion of jungle and hardcore into minimal house, which is what became the Fuse sound," Siragusa told fabric last year. A child of Metalheadz as much as Perlon, his tastes—and vast vinyl collection—run wide, and today the breadth of these influences inform his creativity behind the decks more than ever.
As RA.1008 illustrates acrpss nearly two hours, dazzling tech house, minimal, speed garage, jungle and more all fit under Siragusa's roof. The blending is sublime, each new transition a window into a fleeting sonic world. There's no tracklist, with a clutch of totally unreleased tunes aired for the first time. Happy IDing.

New Brvtalism No. 471 - STAANA
THE BRVTALIST
New Brvtalism is back! After a summer break we return with all new mixes from some of the world's best talent. We restart in our homebase of Berlin, Germany with this great mix from STAANA. The Berlin-based artist channels an endless drive from her foundation of a dancer's intuition and classical musicianship. Cutting through the noise, she expresses energetic constellations of the momentum, described through perpetual motion. This year marked her debut at Radion Amsterdam and RSO in Berlin, with exciting upcoming projects to see the light of day in the following months.

https://ufo95.bandcamp.com/album/dissolutionTSSRCT returns with its second release, delivering a four-track EP by UFO95 that dives deep into minimalist, contemporary techno. Focused on raw textures this record explores a territory where noise meets precision. Punchy drums collide with saturated percussions, while delay-heavy treatments carve space into the mix, creating hypnotic tension across each track. It's a stripped-back yet forceful statement -- functional and experimental in equal measure.

PREMIERE: Halv Drøm - Humane Intervention (Pauli403 Remix) [G+EVA002 - 2]
THE BRVTALIST
The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Halv Drøm. "Humane Intervention (Pauli401 Remix)" comes off the new v/a “Tearing of the Temple ╪ HYMNS REWORKS, forthcoming on Berlin's GANZ + ELEND. One year ago, 61 artists came together to release the charity compilation VA002, breaking the silence to support the Palestine Children’s Relief. Since then, the situation has not improved - it has worsened beyond comprehension. In response, we return with a special remix compilation featuring selected tracks from VA002. Each remix stands in solidarity with one family in Gaza - one track, one act of support, one voice against the injustice. We choose to speak through sound, through action, through art.
The REWORKS compilation continues the label’s commitment to global sonic dialogue and cultural exchange, this time with a focused mission: all proceeds will go toward humanitarian relief efforts in Gaza.

PREMIERE: Moderna - DIE4U (Neu-Romancer Remix) [BNR 009]
THE BRVTALIST
The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Moderna. "DIE4U (Neu-Romancer Remix)" comes off the new Remix EP forthcoming on Berlin's Brave New Rave. The remix album dives into three standout tracks from the album, "The Future Is Among Us," "DIE4U," and "Pappenheimer," coming off of Moderna's debut album, The Future Is Among Us, and enlists a heavyweight cast of artists to give them a new life.
The record opens with two very different, but equally powerful, remixes of the title track. French duo Kimshies delivers a dark, club-ready slow-burner, while Karassimeon cranks up the energy with an indie-dance, Italo bumper. Next, "DIE4U" gets a thrilling new perspective from Slow Motion Record's founder Franz Scala and synth-wave doll Neu-Romancer. Both artists inject their signature styles, transforming the original with their unique, unmistakable flair. Closing out the EP is Almost Falling, the new project from German producers Esther Silex and Kotelett, who give us their downbeat version of “Pappenheimer”.
This remix EP is more than just a collection of new versions—it's a bold expansion of Moderna's original vision, further cementing "The Future Is Among Us" as a quintessential electronic album.

Kicking off on the A-side, ‘Us and Them’ by Lacchesi, sets the tone with an organic and sexy rhythm, weaving erotic vocals with tension and release into a fast-burning dancefloor experience. Followed by HUJUS ‘Taboo’; lives up to its name. A playful, tribalictic track with a bubbly techno atmosphere and a cheeky vocal that keeps things curious and charged.
Flipping the record to the B-side, ‘Kingdom of Flow’ by SOTO also flips the vibes to a rather dark, pounding and underground approach; yet drawing on minimal and hypnotic influences to lock the dancefloor and your mind in. Last but not least, Comrade Winston’s ‘Interception’ closes things out with abstract break-driven energy. A refreshing take on drops and tempo play that suggest being intercepted mid-movement.
A seductive blend of pulse, tension and release. Sexyrecs challenges you again to feel your best sexy self, on and off the dancefloor.

PREMIERE: Mala Herba - Wiły (club remix)
THE BRVTALIST
The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Mala Herba. "Wiły (club remix)" comes off the new EP, Wounded Healer II, forthcoming from the solo project of producer, sound artist, and queer activist Zosia Holubowska. Wounded Healer II is a continuation of the LP Wounded Healer, released on October 10, 2024, via White Forest Records. The EP expands on the LP's themes by inviting spiritual practitioners and artists to create ritualistic or poetic responses to the original compositions. The new release includes four remixes by international producers: Porosty (PL), a retrofuturistic visual and sound artist; Gael (UA), a leftfield techno deconstructionist; Kaosmos (TR), an industrial narrative experimentator; and Restive Plaggona (GR), a dark ambient/techno fusion producer.
The release also features two club reworks by Mala Herba of ambient tracks from the original album, specifically Wily and Rusaleczki. Furthermore, it includes one riso-printed zine featuring ritual and poetic contributions in response to the tracks. These contributions include meditations, spells, and incantations.

Dekmantel Mix 497 - Lakuti & Tama Sumo
Dekmantel Podcast
Proud champions of community and inclusivity, Lakuti and Tama Sumo are long-time Dekmantel favourites and true underground bastions. Deep diggers and lifelong collectors, the iconic Panorama Bar dup built a reputation for sets where pretty much anything goes, as long as it has soul. And the way they mix it, with a rare instinct that pull their crowds in deep is what makes them one of the most revered back-to-back duos in the scene.
This week’s mix is yet more evidence of that: over 80 minutes, they blend old and new. Rooted in house but shaped by global travels, it moves through soul-soaked broken beat, classic US depths and Afro rhythms – always carried by an emotional rawness that resonates. A masterclass in both selection and flow from two of the best.

The gifted London DJ and curator goes big on bass futurism.
"To pull a thread." This old English adage means to follow a small detail that might unravel into something larger and more significant. It's also the inspiration behind London artist mi-el's NTS Radio show, and a neat way of understanding her approach as a DJ.
Take mi-el's rich archive of mixes. From NTS to The Trilogy Tapes, they show her to be a deeply personal selector and curator, pushing past functionality into something more expressive, narrative and often political. A show about Refugee Week? Afrofuturist world-making? Interlocking systems of domination? All material is putty in her hands.
Now based in Berlin, mi-el is simply a wicked club DJ. In just a few years she's played Panorama Bar, De School and FOLD, as well as festivals including Waking Life, Terraforma and Field Maneuvers.
Alongside peers and predecessors like Josey Rebelle, she represents a new generation of Black British artists reinventing the wheel, and as we mark the beginning of UK Black History Month, no other candidate felt more fitting.
RA.1007 shows why. The 55-minute session is a deft balancing act of depth and playfulness, humour and heaviness, rooted in club intensity and the futurism of the UK hardcore continuum. It's firm confirmation that, in mi-el's hands, the art of the DJ mix is alive and well.

https://www.instagram.com/nplexrecords/https://soundcloud.com/n-plexSequences moving between accentuated percussion and dynamic melody loops over a massive basement of cutting beat grids. Conveying an impression of the reckless brutality of an unstoppable mechanism covered by a cheerful vibrancy, this release is still shaping up in a palette of various shades: sustained and soothing in "Provider", groovy and uplifting in "6-APA", aggressive but playful in "Again" and uncanny but bouncy in "Bloom".
You'll find those cinematic elements and breaks, which are so typical for Öspiel’s sound, as well as the melodic parts which sound somewhat between organic and synthesized. And you'll hear Schwefelgelb’s rawness and minimalism, which makes each single sound stand out.
Despite a subtle echo of EBM’s decay here and there, this release is moving forward in its very own redirection by adding Hypnotic, Groovy and Ambient notions to it. Last but not least the sophisticated mixing and sound design give this release an omnipresent powerful drive.
“Notion Compound” will be released 24th of October on n-PLEX, 140g colored vinyl. Download code is only included with vinyl sales via bandcamp.

With Steampunk, he delivers a set of tracks that showcase not only his signature sound design and unique energy, but also his ability to craft music that feels timeless.
The journey opens with Aborted, where intricate grooves and striking sound design merge into a truly distinctive piece, setting the tone for the record. Erath follows with a muscular and driving character, powered by a vocal that drops at key moments to amplify its raw energy.
On the flip side, Steampunk offers a minimal yet highly effective groove, a versatile track built to work in any context. Code 2 pushes deeper into hypnotic territory a perfect fusion of modern textures and classic sensibilities that leaves a lasting impression.

PREMIERE: Erótica Castro - Miércoles de encierro [PMD007]
THE BRVTALIST
The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Erótica Castro. "Miércoles de encierro" comes off the new EP, Una Semana, forthcoming on Plasmodia. ‘Una semana’ presents a spectrum of emotional and creative states: while some days pulse with glitchy rhythms, others lean toward atmospheric contemplation, and still others carry the weight of frenetic desire. All of them intertwine influences and moods that evoke techno, electro, and experimental ambient. Now, years after those recordings, Erótica Castro revisits them, and although the encounter adds new durations and perspectives that might seem to belong to someone else, they ultimately return to the same self, closing the cycle of a solitary yet transformative moment.
Out October 3rd. Get it at:

MNMT Recordings : Franko @ Fragments Forest Rave 2025
Monument Podcast
Here we present a live recording from Franko sourced deep within the Norwegian woods at this years Fragments forest event.
Words from the artist -
This recording is from my closing set at the second forest rave we hosted with Fragments in the Norwegian woods this summer – a night that turned into our biggest production so far, and one I’m really proud of.
The set starts in complete darkness, slowly building in tempo and groove, shifting into lighter melodies and psychedelic playfulness as the sun began to rise. Morning sets like these are some of my favorites: balancing the ups and downs, keeping people on the floor without pushing too hard, while leaving space to breathe. A mix of joy, freedom, and the quiet melancholy of summer coming to an end.
As the sun rose over the hill behind me, we decided to extend the set by half an hour to let the first rays hit the dance floor through the smoke and create a truly magical morning. It gave me the chance to play some of the most beautiful tracks I know and gently bring everything to a halt. It was definitely one of the most fun and meaningful moments I’ve had behind the decks.

RA.1006 Collabs 3000
RA Podcast
Three hours of incendiary techno, as two veterans go head-to-head.
When Speedy J described his studio dynamic with Chris Liebing back in 2014, he put it bluntly: "I try to piss him off a little." The result? Dance music that's as functional and precise as Liebing demands, with just enough chaos to keep it interesting. That tension has defined the duo's partnership, Collabs 3000, since their first releases, and it's alive and well on their debut RA Mix.
Both artists are techno heavyweights in their own right. Jochem Paap, AKA Speedy J, helped Europe slow down after the breakneck '90s, proving that techno could chug as well as pummel. Liebing, meanwhile, commanded his popular label CLR and went from transforming schranz into the hard techno sound that recently swept up a younger generation of ravers.
As a pair, Collabs 3000 undeniably has its ear trained on the big room. Paap and Liebing are both former Berghain regulars, and the Berlin club's influence is clear across RA.1006: taut, muscular techno, or "effective and structured" in Liebing's words, with Paap injecting the right amount of unpredictability. Their 2005 full-length, Metalism, remains a landmark: polished, uncompromising and dynamite for any large sound system.
With the album now remastered for its 20th anniversary, Collabs 3000's RA Mix brings that same ferocious energy into sharp focus: smouldering textures, peak-time pressure and three unrelenting hours of classic techno.

'Tresor has been a true anchor in my journey. After three years as a resident, the club has challenged me, shaped me, and given me the freedom to explore the full spectrum of my sound, even after many years in the scene. It’s a place where I’ve grown both as a musician and as a person. That’s why I dedicate this set to Tresor.
This recording channels the intensity of my recent releases (Blueprint – X1 SHIFT and The Third Room – Wind Whisper) and captures the side of me that lives and breathes techno. At the same time, it marks a moment before I turn a part of my focus back toward my electronica side, with my fifth album on the horizon, set to be released on my own imprint, Distorted Waves.'

Upon hearing the immediacy of her demos, Sumner didn’t just want a 12-inch; he proposed to work on a full-length Identity. The result now serves as solid evidence that she’s intentionally pushing the label forward into new places.
It’s no surprise that Sandwell District championed the album early on — nearly every track showed up in their sets and podcasts, marking Nastia Reigel as a new favorite artist of techno’s most influential collective.
